Bought these to replace the Kraby Italiana Ferramenta 80N gas stays (which to replace like for like are over £20 each) on my 10 year old MFI kitchen. They are completely interchangeable, the length is perfect, even the existing screw holes match exactly. Consequently, they were very easy to swap over, and my cupboards now stay open on their own again! Photos show the new and old stays. No idea how long they will stay strong for, hopefully I'll get a few years out of them.

Upward opening kitchen cabinets worked really well easy to fit very happy with them.

Larger and a little stronger than the original failed units that I was replacing in my caravan overhead lockers. But with a bit of measuring, they fit and work well. Diagrammatic instructions could be better, so study them well. Measure twice, drill once😊. Half the price of the original Swift units plus you get 4 rods, so two spares for the future.

Excellent replacement for the original ones and much cheaper.

Works well, 80N is quite hard to compress so don’t think it’s faulty. Was replacement for old one which lasted 30 years. The other one on the other side is still ok. It arrived from Germany quickly.
