Strong and stable
It is heavy in the hand and strong, staying stiff unsupported for over 2 metres extension. It delivers the full 5 m as advertised, but there is squeaking on extending the tape beyond the 3 metre mark. (Maybe its return coil spring needs lubrication??) The retraction lock works well. The metric and Imperial scales are easy to read though, unexpectedly, the Imperial scale is marked in 16ths and 32nds! It loses one star for the absent decimalisation of the Imperial Scale. A woven support loop is a welcome extra feature. Good value.

Solid and robust measure
This 10m measure is very solid, compact and robust, and functions very well and exactly as intended. Only time will tell how reliable and long lasting it will be, but first impressions after having used it on a project outside for a few days, are very good. Pricewise, this didn't break the bank, as there are many out there 3x the price. Would I buy it again? Yes I would.
