My heart is full after reading this book! This was my favourite out of the entire series. It's so easy to fall in love with these characters, and Kai and Miller (and Max!) were no exception. Their story was written beautifully, with the perfect balance of emotion, tension, banter, and of course, found family. <33

So it's a wrap on "Caught Up" by Liz Tomforde Rating:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kai and Miller are the best of the best. This is the first book that I have read by Liz Tomforde and honestly I'm in love with her writing. This is a single dad sports romance and baby Max is a cutie 🥰🥰🥰. The story starts off with Kai needing a nanny for his son Max cause he fired the last one. Hence Kai's baseball coach suggests picking his daughter Miller as the fill-in nanny over the summer. Now Miller on the other side is an exclusive high end restaurant pastry chef. Her desserts are to die for. But lately she feels as if she has lost her touch. She isn't able to create anything new, which drives her to take a break and return to her dad in Chicago. Her dad signs her up for the nanny position so she can travel with them during the away games. It's a win-win situation but, Kai and Miller meet each other in an elevator where Miller is drinking beer early in the morning. Classic!! Kai doesn't trust her but begrudgingly accepts her as the nanny of his child. Sooner rather than later they start to fall for each other. There are rules to avoid heart break 💔 but hearts to end up breaking. Miller has to decide if she wants to go back to L.A. to continue working as a consulting pastry chef or choose the life she has found with Kai, Max and her dad. I completed this book in one sitting. I loved Miller and Max's scenes. I'm super excited about the new books in the series. Stay tuned for more book reviews!!
