Shipping Container Homes

This is quite a different one from all others book i have read about shipping container home where you just get the direction to choose your home and purchase it but this book will give you an overall idea of shipping container home hoe you can build one by yourself. That will save you a lot of money and give you the essence of living on your own home. And the author takes a very good care while describing about the key points and necessary steps one should take before starting to build one.

Unless you have never seen one thing about container homes or done one moments research about building a home this book is ridiculous!! Seriously, it was like it was written for 8th graders!! There is one piece of useful information about the safety of used containers, but then he spends numerous wasted space telling the reader to only buy new!! That's not the point of container homes, the point is to reuse something that has become waste, not to have a new container built for you!!He tells the reader to talk to people who have built container homes, really?? Why didn't he talk to people who built them and then write about it !! Actual research into the subject matter, contact information ect....he spends the whole book ( which by the way should be a 5 page pamphlet ) telling the reader to go find out about things, no answers given!! That would be why people buy a book, to get answers, not to be told to do the research, buying the book is part of the research!!He says to buy from a reputable container dealer but doesn't list any, says it's easier if you want to build near a port then does not say anythingabout shipping to the middle of the country.The whole book is a sham!! The guy who wrote this is a con artist,,,all he did was a couple of hours of internet research, downloaded some pics that are already all over the web and wrote a book,,,,spend the 40 minutes that it takes to read this and do your own research!The book cost me $3 bucks,,,,I would have been better off buying a pack of gum!!

This book was very informative of the information that I was looking for I enjoyed reading it very much.

An excellent overview on how to create a shipping container home.There is a lot involved and this book simplifies the process by outlining the benefits and drawbacks of building a shipping container home.A must read for any one considering a shipping container home.

Information ok, but if your looking for pictures or design ideas this is not the book.

Good Book

The book has nothing you cant already pull from the web. In fact much of it is just that...web snippets with a cover thrown on it.Dot waste your hard earned money.
