Basic Sense Plain Pure Natural Silk Light Weight Fine Soft Skin Scarf

This is a lovely scarf, arrived promptly after ordering it and I'm very pleased with it. It is very lightweight and soft, yet not too flimsy and perfect for wearing in the warmer weather. I also find it a good length, not too long yet long enough to wear a bit loose around my neck or for a more snug fit if I want to on a cooler day/evening. I ordered this in the grey shade, which I think can be described as either a slate or graphite grey - or even Paynes Grey for any of you watercolour artists out there - this is even better than I had expected, as in the Amazon pic it is a slightly lighter shade of grey, although that would have been fine too. I am probably going to order another one in a different colour.

Scarf is lovely but very fine.

This scarf is genuine silk. It looks and feels luxurious, sheer and soft. The length is exactly right for knotting at my neck with the loose ends disguising the too-low cut neckline of a favourite dress. The lovely light gold colour (warmer and brighter than cream) will work well with many of my other clothes too. Being real silk, it will be comfortable and won’t make me overheated indoors in winter, but will protect my neck from droughts. All this at an unbelievably low price! I’m going to get some more in different colours too.

Very thin in fact virtually see through. I was hoping to wear it with a dress suit and coat but I don’t think it is suitable. It didn’t cost much though!

This is the second time I have ordered this scarf and this time in the blue and red!!!!! They are a good length for wrapping and very well made with lovely true bright colours. I actually use them to wrap around my head when I sleep for my hair and am very sensitive to most materials and these are perfect. I would recommend them anytime, super soft, brightly coloured and of course silk!!!! I now have my eye on another shade!!

Really disappointed with this item. It felt cheap. Its so thin, and wearing it, it also looked poor.

Would preferred you called it a chiffon type scarf then wouldn’t have bothered buying it, cheap and cheerful but not cheap what for what you get

This item is exactly as described. I wanted it to make a scooped neck dress more modest and it did the trick perfectly as it is so light and comfortable next to the skin. This is the second scarf of this type that I have purchased. The first one I used to go round the waist of a silk dress and was also very effective. With such a wide range of colours I would not hesitate in buying more in the future to complement other outfits.

Ein wirklich schöner, schmaler Schal, eher Tuch, das sich wunderbar seidig am Hals anfühlt. Ich trage es gerne, gerade jetzt in der Übergangszeit. Ein klein wenig Luxus, schönes Accessoires, das zu vielem dank seit seinem schlichten grau passt.
