Very Pleased
My baby girl, Tinky (a Maltese dog), had congestive heart failure. As such, it was extremely important to keep her as stress-free as possible. She was terrified of the noise made by electric clippers. I bought these manual clippers to keep her trimmed without stressful noise. These work surprisingly well. While they were not designed for guard attachments, I found a set of cheap guards at Sally Beauty Supply that worked just fine.

Don't Buy It!
I tried cut my own hair with it and it barely cut anything. I could far better with regular scissors, a comb, and safety razor than this piece of junk. It came in a box with Chinese instructions. I cannot read Chinese!!! $11 may not be a lot of money to Amazon, but I live on a retired man's fixed income and it all adds up. This item is just a toy. It is not real. It is not a serious tool. No professional barber would touch it with a ten-foot pole. The bottom line? Caveat Emptor, "let the buyer beware." I want my money back!

Top issue is that the cap is plastic
had to get a 3mm nut to replace the nut that hold everything together because honestly, it's a decent clipper for what I paid. The cap is a plastic part painted silver with a rubber bit inside. Keep the rubber part. I wanted something I could keep with me that didn't use power, but this is 100% a cheap manufactured product and if you wanna be more conscious of what you buy, maybe go on another platform. If you need to shave your head for $10, it'll work. It's gonna come in very oiled and the directions are in Chinese. You are paying for cheap mass manufactured goods. If this is an issue, you can find better ones for $40+ more that might have been made 1920 that still work. Long term, I think taking it apart to clean after every use (or once a month) and replacing the plastic after it breaks, it'll last. Keep the rubber part so the metal doesn't fuse. If you need to care something to shave and you don't know that you'll have power, it'll work. YOU HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO USE IT. You need to consistently squeeze and release. Shaving your whole head or the sides you can see would be a good starting place, but you have to learn how to use them without pulling on your hair. Don't be scared of them. I have yet to cut myself. and I cut my hair weekly. First week was a little uneven, but just had to go over it again and we're good.

Does what it needs to do
It's not the best but for what I need to use them for it works, not overly even in the cutting and seems to bog up fairly quickly on hair. Specially if thick. Cheaply made but it works as I figured it would. No complaints.

Product came broken
The clippers themselves are metal but the single piece that holds everything together is plastic and came broken. There was not any damage to the box either to say it was damaged in transit, save your money, buy a different one

Screws broke right away
There is a thumbscrew at the top that literally fell to pieces in my hand the moment I went to unscrew it. I had to go to the hardware store to find a wing nut to replace it and because it is metric I paid a lot for one little wing nut.
