This is a nice and secure unit that, aside from being an L bracket which provides horizontal/vertical mounting possibilities, also provides some protection to your new camera.This L mount accessory gives you a quick release compatible shell so you can mount your camera horizontally or vertically on a tripod (or other mount) and works with the Arca Swiss style mounts.The side plate portion is also adjustable so you can raise the camera without raising the tripod, or more importantly, access your accessory doors on that side of the camera.
