The ONE FEATURE of this litter that concerns me is its ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: -- It's made of silica gel, same chemical composition as sand (SiO2)... -- But, because of how it's made... being super-energy-intensive to manufacture... -- Much more costly impact to the planet than biodgradable litters -- This will sit in a landfill indefinitely... tens of thousands of years or more -- (BUT: this WILL NOT leach anything harmful into ground water, soil etc. Just sit there) All that said... Let's look at the POSITIVES of this product, if you've already committed to using it. -- HEALTH TRACKING features are quite interesting, useful and as far as I can tell, function well. -- ABSORBENCY of this product is ASTOUNDING... We have two cats that put out a lot of otherwise odorous pee... but with this stuff, it's almost like NOT THERE at all. Stirring the sand shows it's there, but the odor? Hardly at all! -- CLUMPING of this is very different from clumping of clay or natural products. It "kind of clumps"... gets thicker.. but absorbs everything around it... without having to form giant clump clusters. Quite nice, actually! -- WEIGHT of the material itself... volume for volume, it's about 1/2 to 1/3 the weight, yet it continues to absorb for weeks. Not sure even how that's possible, but that's exactly what it does. -- DUST or blowback while raking or pouring it: NON-EXISTENT... totally PLACID. No problem at all. -- FREQUENCY of CLEANING ATTENTION: Wow! Completely off the charts (positively) different from "normal litter"... If I forget a day or two even... I'm not slammed in the nose with an odorous stench... and yet, I can go swoosh things around a bit, pick out the dry odorless clumps of poop on top, and get on with things. SUPER Nice that way. -- EFFECT on the cats? Completely positive. They just "do their business" and get on with it. If anything, tho, the effect is very positive. We have three boxes: two with silical and one with traditional litter... just to see their preferences. Turns out that since we've been using this, the third "other litter" box is hardly used AT ALL... the cats themselves are self-selcting the silica variety. Need I say more? Yes, of course I do have an environmental conscience, and realize the effect of the product on the planet is harder, just due to energy and manufacturing process. But when I factor in things like more transportation cost because of traditional litter being 2X or 3X heavier for the volume... along with the happiness of the cats and ease of support in the household... There are probably a lot of other things far worse in the long run than this... In fact, I have talked myself into leaving it a FULL FIVE STARS because feature by feature of the good sides of this stuff... it would be more like TEN STARS... So just realize I theoretically shaved off a bit for the environment, but STILL give it FIVE STARS!!! Yes, it will be sitting there in a landfill for thousands of years, or forever... But then, so would its chemical brother sand (which is also SiO2)

I’d never go back to using anything else! Not only does it not smell 🙏🏻 but also monitors the health of your kitty with the color changing crystals. Pretty neat! And it does last a long time, way better value than going through other litters so fast. It’s also better value to by the 8lb bag, the 6lb is only about $3 cheaper.

I love prettylitter cat litter! I have two indoor cats and I was wasting money on kitty litter every week to just throw it out. I bought this and I’ve been using it for two days and this is the bomb! Not only is there less litter to throw away? There is less smell and less that comes out of the litter pan and onto the floor when they jumped out of the little pan. It’s great for clumping poo as that is the only thing that you have to sift out of the litter. The Pee is reabsorbed and distributed into the rest of the crystals with no smell whatsoever. I can see this lasting a long time before it needs to be replaced. I will definitely be buying again as this is the best kitty litter I’ve ever had for my cats. Well, this is an add-on. It has been 12 days since I put this pretty litter Health monitoring cat litter in my litter box and I have two cats and I clean it twice a day in the morning and in the evening and I have had to change it out after 12 days because it started limping up with pee, even though I went in there twice a day and moved it around and mixed it in with the rest of the crystals. I’m not happy that it only lasted 12 days but I am going to try the second bag that I got and see how long it last and I will keep you updated.

I have struggled enormously to find a satisfactory little. Well, this is it! Remove the poop, stir the pee - DONE! Very little scattered outside the box. This lotus scent is not at all overpowering as I've found with others.

I love my cat but have always hated the litter box. Even though I’m a fastidious cleaner, scooped waste as soon as the cat was done, the clay dust and smell never left my nose. Gross. Enter this litter. Lightweight, hardly any tracking, and ZERO smell. I’ve only been using for about a week but this litter and its effectiveness to eliminate cat box odor, made me change my mind about putting the cat box on the screened porch and tearing a hole in the wall to enable the cat to get to it! The cost is worth the no smell in my home!!!

This litter is excellent. I don’t have to change it for at least 4 weeks if I use the whole bag . My cat likes it too. It’s not smelly and easy to clean up .

The best cat litter I ever used. Low dust and very good at locking odors. Lightweight so easy to handle.

I was pretty happy with this product. We have 2 cats 1 litter box . I changed it after 3 weeks. Scooped it every day. Only 1 problem with it ,it would get in kitty’s feet then got all over . But to me it was well worth the dust . I was surprised by the weight of package, it did seemed light . I got 2 fills out of the one bag. It is a bit expensive, but I’m certainly glad I tried it .

The best cat litter Ever!!!

Super clean to use. NO SMELL!!!! I get this for my elderly mother. She does not have to clean the litter box as often and it is so clean! She is fussy about her floors being spotless. The other litters just left so much residual "crumbs" all over from the cat walking out of the litter box. This product leaves no mess.
