I searched Amazon for days for a Montessori style bed for my daughter and ended up going with this bed. A lot of reviews I read for similar style beds said the long piece by the entrance was not sturdy. I have a very rambunctious 2.5 year old so I found it difficult to find one with a review that said it was sturdy so thank you to the mama the left a review stating so. This bed is VERY well built and sturdy. The price is amazing and it showed up two days before it was supposed to arrive. It was very easy to put together and didn’t take my husband long to do so. My one ick is that the bed did smell really strong on initial set up. I’m not sure if it’s the sealant they used for the wood but it took a couple days to go away with the window open and the fan going. It wasn’t a dealbreaker though and with this bed the pros definitely outweighed that one complaint.

Perfect toddler bed! The bed is well made and easy to assemble. Fits a twin size mattress with no issues. The height of the rails are tall enough to prevent him from falling out of bed, but short enough that he can climb over if he wants instead of crawling to the end by the opening.

Super cute, great quality, easy to put together, love the dark color. The bed seems pretty sturdy, and I love how comfortable it is to lay on it. The size was exactly what I wanted and needed, and I love the rails around the bed for added safety for my 3 year old.

I looked at a lot of similar beds and read the reviews really thoroughly to try and find one that would be sturdy with slats. This one had reviews that it was sturdy and I would say overall the outer frame is! It feels solid and heavy. But the slats are god awful. My toddler jumped on the bed and it was bowing. When I laid on it with my baby it sunk towards the middle and I’m sure it would have broken eventually. I went to the store and picked up 7 pine 1x6s and cut them down to size and screwed them in and now it’s perfectly sturdy. So plan to spend a little extra in lumber! Otherwise it’s exactly what I was looking for.

So far a 5 star-- we've had this for a few weeks for our 20MO who we are transitioning out of the crib. I personally have not slept on it but had laid on it with my little and it seems sturdy and comfortable for us both. My little one does like to walk around in the bed and we don't hear any creaking. We didn't notice too big of a chemically smell while we were setting it up. The directions were easy to follow (our little even tried to help Dad put in the screws). We like the size, look is simple and matches other furniture well that we have in the room. Overall super pleased with our purchase so far!

Very high quality, sturdy bed. I also appreciated that it was not too difficult to put together. My three year is in love with it and it has made the perfect transition from crib to bed. Thank you!

Just okay- good for the price. Wanted something off the floor which this is, but the slats are so weak and bend under the weight of a 25lb toddler. It works for now and was easy to assemble, but won’t be something that lasts for a long long time

We love this bed! Allows her to get in and out of bed on her own but not worried about her falling out in the night. She is a mover for sure lol
