There are 2 flaws that make this totally unusable:1) The umbrella will not stay up, because the middle part uses friction (you twist this friction thing in the middle to hold it in place). This friction worked at the beginning, but after a couple hours of use, the friction was totally gone and can't hold up the umbrella anymore. Also, ANY wind and it can't stay up. This part needs to not use friction. The rest of the hinges use a button, which works way better.2) The clamp is too small. This is a standard chain link fence in the picture and the clamp BARELY gets around it - you have to force it. So it won't fit on most things.

This is great for those sunny days watching the grandkids play sports. It is simple to clamp on and adjust. We bought the silver one so it would be highly reflective against the sun rays. It makes a big difference. Lots of people ask where we bought it.

Bought this for an all day air show and it did not disappoint! Being able to move it as the sun moved saved us from the heat and direct sun light. It also helped provide shade areas for our daughter when she wanted to get down and play. Must have for all outdoor events!
