I love this game! It's a two-player cooperative game with varying levels of difficulty. The physical components are cards, cardboard, wood, and plastic, and are well-built for longevity. While playing you need to communicate with and trust your partner. The games don't take too long to play, and everything stores well inside the box. Each scenario has some luck involved with the strategy, and even replaying the same scenario will give you a different game each time. There are many small pieces, and the set up takes a few minutes, but once you figure it out, it goes more quickly. I love how the components integrate with each other, depending on the scenario that's being played. The airplane console that you are controlling is ingeniously created, with spaces for the expansion items needed in the more difficult scenarios. I'm not a huge board or card game player anymore, but I make an exception for this one!

Sky Team is an absolute blast for two players, delivering that intense “we’re about to crash if we don’t get this right” vibe without actually risking your life or a multi-million dollar aircraft. The design is clean and thematic, with a cockpit layout that makes you feel like you’re actually radioing in landing clearances like Maverick and Goose (minus the volleyball montages). The difficulty level is balanced – easy to learn but with enough challenge to keep each landing tense, especially as campaigns ramp up in complexity. Playability is fantastic since setup takes just a couple of minutes, making it perfect for weeknight sessions. Strategy is deep but avoids the classic cooperative quarterbacking problem because you literally can’t talk during dice placement – it’s silent teamwork at its finest, or most frustrating, depending on your communication style. Speed-wise, games are quick, about 20-30 minutes per landing, with plenty of different scenarios to keep it fresh. Size-wise, the box is compact and fits nicely on the shelf without demanding premium real estate. Overall, if you want a co-op game that’s fast, fun, and makes you feel like Top Gun pilots with far less insurance liability, this is it.

A brilliant game for two players. The rules are straightforward. The game mechanics are fun, make sense, and are easy to teach to others. You can be up and playing with a new partner in about ten minutes. The intro scenario is wonderfully simple and prepares you for the more complex (and fun) scenarios to come. Lots of replay-ability. Plus the game's components are very well-crafted/printed and a lot of fun to move around.

This is a very fun game. It took us a few tries to figure out how to win and offers some unique challenges and ever evolving scenarios that create a lot of diversity through your different play-throughs. The best part of the game is how easy it is to set up and how easy it is to lose. I know that sounds weird, but the theme of the game is navigating the complexities of piloting and landing your aircraft to its destination and all of the game mechanics really make you feel the need to exercise precision and forethought to ensure you don't tilt the plane too much, have the right speed, etc., otherwise you will automatically lose (things can go wrong very fast, and that makes it very fun). While this game doesn't have me obsessed/feel the need to play every week, I love having it in the mix and can see myself playing it with my partner for many years as a key part of our game rotation.

Sky Team absolutely earns its Game of the Year recognition. There’s a small learning curve at first, but once you play a round with one person acting as the pilot and the other as the co-pilot, everything clicks quickly. The tension, communication, and teamwork are outstanding, and every landing feels earned. It’s engaging without being complicated and stays exciting even after multiple plays. If you enjoy smart, cooperative games that reward coordination and trust, this is a must-have. Easy five stars.

Sky Team is an awesome cooperative game for two players. It’s easy to learn but still exciting every time you play. Working together to land the plane feels tense and fun, and each round only takes about 20 minutes. Perfect for couples or friends who like strategy games. My husband and I always have a blast when playing this game! Highly recommended!

My wife and I love board games, and both of us usually prefer the competitive, cutthroat kind where only one player emerges victorious. Co-op games (where players cooperate to reach a shared goal and win) are not our cup of tea. Nevertheless, we consider this one a real gem!!! In "Sky Team" you and your partner assume the roles of a pilot and a co-pilot preparing to land a plane. You roll dice each round and place them on the board which represents the flight deck. Specific conditions must be satisfied in order to land safely (e.g the plane needs to be stabilised horizontally, the landing gear must be deployed on time, you need to descend at a steady speed, etc.). A lot could go wrong unless you coordinate with your partner efficiently! PROS: * Simple rules: takes about 5 minutes to learn * Great time filler: each game takes only 15-20 minutes * High replayability: lots of airports to choose from, some with extra rules and victory conditions * Travel friendly: a relatively small box The game itself is made from quality materials and feels very durable. Even though the artwork is not anything out of the ordinary, it is nic enough to keep us immersed in the game, even if it's only 15 minutes! We are very glad to have found this game! Highly, highly recommended! 5/5

Fun game but for some reason our instructions are half in english half in french - where they start the instructions in english, then move to french, then back to english. Must be a printing error

Tengo varios juegos de mesa para 2 personas, pero pocos como esté, tiene varios ingredientes: -Cooperativo para 2 jugadores -Componentes vistosos -Partidas breves (20 mins es demasiado, así que puedes jugar varias en una hora) -Preparación sencilla (en 2 minutos esta listo todo) -Reglas simples, hay algunas variantes adicionales, pero todo se vuelve muy sencillo -Reto, se trata de aterrizar un avión con seguridad, es posible que debas intentarlo varias veces ya que hay escenarios y cosas que complican el objetivo. Ya no puede comprar la versión en español, esta versión es en inglés; pero más allá del manual y de algunos detalles muy específicos, el idioma no es importante para jugarlo y disfrutarlo... vaya es independiente del idioma. Solo incluye 6 cartas que si quieres enfundar utilizan micas de 57.5 x 89 La primera vez que juegues deberás ensamblar algunas partes con cinta doble cara (incluida) pero debes ser cuidadoso, ya que no hay margen de error. No es difícil, pero requiere 5 minutos de atención. Finalizó... es un gran juego para 2 que merece mucho la pena
