I bought these for some detective kits I made for my middle school forensic science students. They were usable, practical and as advertised.

My son wrote his own clue game. We hid clues around the house with tips on the weapons and suspects so they could eliminate them as we went! My favorite part of the kit was the pens! They are bright and easy to write with! The riddles or puzzles to help them find the next clue were all written in invisible ink, so the kids were actively using their supplies to solve the mystery! The finger print ink was fresh. The ids were a surprisingly good quality. The magnifying glass does not work all the great but for our purposes it was fine. Great quality kit for the money!!

Everything was just the right amount and size for my son’s party. They’re also useful goody bags, but also not super expensive. We had different challenges that the kids had to use their “spy gear” during the party, too! One of those that the cost is good so if it breaks, who cares, but it’s also fun!

Purchase this for Girl Scouts was a perfect kit to do the detective badge. Would also recommend it for a birthday party. The pen which shows light for a secret message works great and the magnifying glass is perfect. Plus the ink pads were great to use highly recommend. Hope you have a great day.
