In this visually spectacular blend of astonishing illusions and exhilarating action from director Louis Leterrier (Clash of the Titans), four talented magicians mesmerise an international audience with a series of bold and original heists, all the while pursuing a hidden agenda that has the FBI and Interpol scrambling to anticipate their next move.

1 product was as good as it could have been and there were no ...
This a review of the product, not the movie (at least at first). So far I have watched in both a full hd tv and a HD 720 projector. The colours are vibrant even in the projector and the blacks are satisfactory. Using a 5.1 to 7.1 product was as good as it could have been and there were no scenes in shich I had to play with the volume. That means that they did a really good job with the audio of this movie. The experience was enjoyable and everything a bluray should offer. The bluray comes with two choices. You either watch the there cal version or the extended. This is a features not many blurays have. The last time I came across this feature was in Beauty and the Beast. Usually they release two different copies of the movie and name the extended a collectors edition. That was not what happened with this one.A goof is the addition of a final scene in one version which takes you in the desert with the gang getting their next mission. The reality is that they wear different clothes because the scene was a merge of one deleted and one alternative scene. Nonetheless it's great to see what happens after even if after a closer inspection you realise what they did in the cutting room. Finally the menu has an easter egg which completely fooled my mother and the navigation is smooth and follows alog if order. The movie is enjoyable and the features of the blu ray enhance the experience. For me it was a merge of The Tourist and Sherlock Holmes, while heavily sparkled with magic. Not bad,not bat at all.

Brilliant
Didn't see it in the cinema ,my lossin short loved it one of the best films I've seen in ages laughed my head off at some of it and some of it was really movingNice twist at the end when the 5th horsemen is revealed .the other 4 are the main entertainers that are the main plotters of the filmNo matter how many times I be seen it I never get tired of it or stop grinningAlthough thousands get confused about the Paris robbery in the van I could never figure how they got 3 million euros into the USAThen the EYE seems to have pretty big logistics or Dylan Rhodes hasAgain I can't get enough of it , pity Henley wasn't in in the sequel but lula is just as good in the sequel but that's a nother storyHighly entertaining not what I was expecting, watched it 3 times in one day brilliantThe film had mixed reviews in the state'sBut the fans liked it can't fault themIn shortThe horsemen are magicians who want to join the EYE, which is a ancient group formed thousands of years ago to right wrongs as they see it in other words they were classed as the robin hoods of the new age and the public adores them for itSnubbing the law to do what they thought was right and just on stage......QuestionHow did the 4 horsemen1) bring the 3 million e/us over fromParis the state's2)how did they incinerate the flash money in Paris safe very confused over this bit

Mindless Caper
If you're looking for heavy thinking drama like The Prestige or Inception, you may want to go somewhere else. Now You See Me is a mindless caper and the great thing is, that's all it's trying to be. The whole movie is style over substance and it does a smashing job. All you need to do is sit back and try not to think too hard. The basic premise of Now You See Me is centred around a disparate group of magicians who are invited into a secret Magic Circle type organisation. To earn their entrance, they have to perform a number of spectacular illusions. And that's about it. There are a few twists along the way, but don't try to think too hard about it or you'll notice a few dozen plot holes. But like I said, it's mindless fun that's just out to give you a fun couple of hours... And it certainly achieves that in the great tradition of heist/mystery capers.Highly recommended for those who like to switch off.

Simply magic
Very good film for me it ticked all the boxes. To quote one of the characters to be a magician you have to be the smartest guy in the room. This film is intelligent, funny in the right places, very past paced even had a bit of free running (Parlour) for the action scenes. The film is in the right balance lots of things going on but everything is done well. The story 4 street magicians/con artists are brought together. During their shows they are pulling off daring heists and giving their proceeds to the audience. How are they doing it while on stage, and what are they after? That is what the FBI, Interpol and a whistle-blower who exposes magicians for a living are all trying to work out. This film is one of those times when the previews live up the hype. If you are a fan of magic shows, you will enjoy this film. If you are a fan of chase films you will enjoy this film. I you like things like the secrets of magic exposed you will enjoy this film. If fact I cannot think of anyone who would not enjoy this film.

What I expected
Having seen the fancy adverts on TV for this feature whilst it was in the cinema, I thought it looked appealing. I ordered it on Amazon when the DVD release date had passed (having missed the opportunity to see it in the cinema) and expected it to be a film which would be entertaining and generally keep my attention. In these aspects 'Now You See Me' delivered, as the action-packed stunts centred around cons, deceit and mysterious thefts really held my attention and I certainly did not walk away from the viewing experience feeling disappointed. Although the film was passable, the acting ability of the (admittedly well known) cast was called into question at some points and the whole thing isn't very memorable.Overall, the gimmicks dominate and it is very Hollywood. If you like heist movies, such as The Bank Job (another all-round average movie - which I did enjoy) then 'Now You See Me' is worth a shout.
