Time saver
Thus is absolutely brilliant. Bought this as I take pallets apart for kindling. For years I have taken them apart and then stood at my bench for hours taking nails out. With this I literally have saved myself hours and hours of detailing. This is by far the best bit of kit for this job. I've had a few jam ups with nails sliding up the side but if you trim the bent ones off to a small stub and then use this you won't have so many jams. And DONT put your hand underneath to catch tje nail as it fires out like a bullet. I found out the hard way.😩

Absolute essential for pallet breakdown
After breaking down a load of pallets for repurposing the wood for various projects and being thoroughly bored of hammering out every individual nail and pulling them from the other side I decided to investigate alternatives. Most search's recommended this air tool by air locker and since I already have a small compressor it sounded and looked like a good idea so I but the bullet and ordered one. After getting it connected up via an adaptor I decided to attach an in-line oil reservoir as it recommends unscrewing the adaptor every so often and dripping in some oil, I figured this way would be a lot less messy and save me unscrewing an air tight connection over and over risking damaging it and losing the air tight seal. Once pressurised I liked it up with the first nail and pulled the trigger, there's a fairly loud pop and the nail was gone, the piston shot it straight out the other side and left a small indent where it used to be, I then proceeded to knock out the remaining nails and it becomes quite fun, taking seconds to de-nail boards instead of a couple minutes for each one, I ended up punching out 10 pallets worth of nails in around 20 mins, with a hammer it would of taken half the day and a lot of sweating and swearing! If you break pallets down for reuse often, own a compressor and can justify the price this is an absolute game changer in terms of saving time and effort, I'm so glad I found it sooner rather than later!

Makes denailing a breeze
Simple to use, extremely powerful, makes short work of even the bentest (real word I've invented) of nails. Well made, rugged and a joy to use

Love this
I tried the tip of using over a bucket. But it shattered the bottom of the bucket first shot! Works a charm tho. Could do with a larger nozzle for the old 4” nails but not sourced one yet

Reduction in time
One of the best tools I have ever bought striping nails from pallets down to 5 mins instead of 30mins using a nail bar

Okay, I bought this about 4 or 5 months ago planning to use it for pallet wood deconstruction. I finally got around to using it, and I went at it just exactly the way that I saw it done on YouTube. I had deconstructed two pallets using a Sawzall which left a number of nails cut off in the wood. I had most of the pallet wood at my disposal to use if I could get those Nails out. I turned the pieces of wood upside down exposing the cut off parts of the nails which are usually three or four in a line going across the grain of the wood. I clap them to my workbench at first but eventually I just held them down with my hand because it was faster to switch them around. I put the air pressure from my air compressor at around a hundred PSI although it is rated for up to 120. This gun does a semi-automatic nail punch blast which you can do very rapidly on one spot where you want to punch the surface. I was extremely impressed with the performance and the ease of use. I knocked out most of the pieces of nail totally from the wood without having to pull additionals. The ones that did not just fly out of the wood after several impacts I just pulled out with a nail puller that was very easy. I highly recommend this tool to anyone interested in taking apart pallets or taking out Nails where pieces of the nail are exposed enough to punch through. That said, I'm sure that you could also punch through a workpiece to get to the metal underneath and then keep driving down through in some cases that's what I did, maybe it was easier for me because I was using reclaimed Lumber that was worn out and easy to punch into. Anyway it's worth a try if you are in that situation. You could also most likely use this to drive heavy Nails into a workpiece in a very accurate and fast way just make sure that you have the nails embedded in the workpiece already otherwise the force of the concussion might throw the nail out of the socket and into your eye or some other place it should not go. Make sure when you remove Nails in the way I described above that you put a bucket filled with either sand or water or some other kind of thing that will slow down the speed or velocity of the ejected pieces of nail. I couldn't get a small enough bag of sand at the Home Depot so I ended up just putting a bunch of old clothes in a good size garbage can that I set underneath the wood that was being denailer. This serve pretty good to collect all of the nails and it also was useful for collecting the shavings that came out of the wood when I drilled out the holes to get the remaining metal that is usually in though holes from pallet nails. Anyway that's my review. I only used it once after waiting for 4 months to use it. I might post another updated review after a year or so of using regularly. For the price and the work it does I don't think you can beat it.

I purchased the airlocker ap700 to assist in denailing timber when I break down pallets. This tool does the job well and I wouldn’t be without it. Compared to using a hammer to knock the nails back through and then prying them out the airlocker is way more efficient. If your into recycling pallet timber then get this tool. You will not regret it. It’s great when a nail is bent because you simply slip the nail in, straighten it and pull the trigger. Using pliers and a hammer etc is a pain and frustrating. Highly recommend this product and Amazon did a good job getting it to me in Australia.

Gutes Produkt. Achtung: beim Bestellen nicht die Kupplung vergessen. Es kommt ohne.
