I've found this brand to be more comfortable than the others I've tried. Size was true/accurate. My only criticism is that I wish they also came in nude.

My calves have been quite sore after excercise lately, so I decided to give these Dr. Scholl's compression sleeves a try. These have a decidedly sporty feel to them - black spandex copper infused moisture wicking style material & reflective accents. Most notably they are not traditional compression socks, but instead just easy put on sleeves.Sizing was a bit of a guessing game; I'm 6 foot and 180 lbs with smaller, but muscular calves. I thought XL would a good bet and the fit is decent. I feel like I'm kind of an in between size here...these fit but, a smaller size would probably offer a touch more compression and stay put a little better.They stay in place for the most part but after several hours I noticed they were beginning to ride down at the top. To be fair I was wearing them under clothes and being fairly active, so not a huge deal. They do have a decently tight fit on the upper side, yet the bottom ankle area seems a bit looser fitting in comparison.Compression is definitely light with these. They are fairly thin and just mildly supportive. The package does state that, so I wasn't expecting anything different.All in all for light compression sleeves these do work as intended with mild support for your calves. The only tricky part was trying to figure out the sizing. For the most part XL worked for me, although I do hope they shrink a tad bit after wash or two.[Edit: after a few more wears I found they stay in place pretty decent for long periods with only minor adjusting here and there. Also, you "double up" the sleeves on one calf if you just want additional support on one side only.]

Calf compression does not cause irritation, it is a great factor. My muscle tone has changed and the sleeve compression is excellent in supporting and strengthening my legs. Work well weather you're running long distances or standing for many hours.
