I recently bought the Kastar 2 Battery + Charger set for my Canon Selphy 1500, and it has been a fantastic addition. The charger holds one of the two batteries and conveniently plugs into the printer as well. What's really convenient is that the second battery can be charged while connected to the printer. Having an extra battery means I don't have to worry about running out of power during events or trips. The batteries charge fairly quickly and hold their charge well. Swapping them out is easy, and the charger cable is pretty long as well.

Charged up quickly and the batteries snapped right into the Selphy 1500 and worked great! Price was great and it shipped quickly.

I wasn't sure if these batteries would work with the SELPHY CP1500. I thought they *probably* would, but I wasn't certain, as there's not much written about what battery to use with this model. Well I am now, and these batteries work great! I've purchased Kastar batteries in the past when I had a Ricoh GR. They work great then as they do now. This is a way better buy than going OEM. You get a battery PLUS a backup battery. And a charger. The charger is different because you plug you battery charger unit into your printer's cable, and so it charges in a kind of daisy chain. I'm not sure if you can connect printer to battery to wall plug. I just do printer cable to battery charger wall plug. You'll see when you get it. It's amazing. Can't wait to take pics and print for people at get togethers !
