Great Mini PC
I bought 2 of these for a compact setup for playing older games. After changing some settings in the BIOS, I am playing games and they look great. They are very cool to the touch after hours of gaming. I haven't heard a peep from it at all. It performs better than my laptop does. Absolutely perfect for what I got it for. If you are looking to use it as a computer for school or work and don't need to run intensive programs, it would be perfect for you. Also, with the right adapter bracket, it can be mounted to the VESA mount on the back of the monitor to save even more desk space.

First time Mini PC owner
I had been wanting to get a Mini PC for years but never got around to it. After researching for at least a month I decided to go with this model because I wanted the updated DDR5 and not be stuck with the older DDR4. The speeds are great and the included Crucial NVME drive along with the Crucial RAM works great. I have read of others having heating issues, etc. but that can be with any Mini PC. Changes can be made in the power settings to minimize any heating issues. I tested it without making any changes and the temps hit up to the mid 80's C and close to 90 C. After making changes in the power settings inside Windows to set to 99% versus 100% made a big difference in heating without any performance loss. I use it to surf the Internet, play movies and TV shows and to run some PC games along with some older arcade games. The device runs smoothly and can handle some decent games but will struggle with alot of the newer AAA games due to the requirements of those. The 680M graphics built into the chip is fairly powerful for most things that you would want to do but will of course struggle with AAA games because it just isn't built for that purpose and wasn't the purpose of my purchase. If you are looking at running AAA games a desktop PC with a more powerful GPU would be the way to go but if you are looking at something that is fairly cheap, fairly powerful and can do a decent amount of work then this device is pretty good. Of course the small form factor is great and sits on my desk without taking up hardly any room at all. I would also recommend getting the extended warranty through Amazon for peace of mind. The manufacturer only gives a 7-day warranty. Amazon gives a 30-day return warranty. But as we all should know these Mini PC's are still fairly new in the last few years and reliability of some of them can be dependent upon how well they are manufactured, environmental settings along with usage. At least with Amazon's extended warranty you have that protection if anything was to go wrong say like 6 months into usage, etc. I personally never had to use the Asurion warranty policy that can be purchased and haven't had any issues with any products I have ordered unless it was a mistake of not really reading into what I was purchasing.

The PC itself is fantastic, the OS not so much
Like the headline says, the mini PC works brilliantly, it boots to the desktop in less than 7-10 seconds, and restarts in about 7 seconds. Super fast for general use and internet browsing, email, youtube movies, plays music just fine, all the basic PC uses. Its amazing in this regard. I even started pushing it further slowly. I installed Steam and ran Wallpaper engine with no issues and even installed the Immersed App so that i may use my Meta Quest 3 with the PC, so im constantly using this mini PC w the headset, enjoying a clear VR monitor via the quest 3. I even purchased some HDMI and DP dummy plugs so thath i can have multiple native VR monitors w the PC. No problem running 1440 and even 4k in VR space. The PC itself is exactly what i was looking for, since i wanted something more mobile, without having to purchase a laptop. The unit itself is relatively quiet and doesnt get more than "warm" near the exhaust. It never gets loud enough to become a bother, in fact, I always forget the unit is even there. So no points taken away from the hardware itself, it is a fantastic PC and if you need some mid-to-High/low workloads, this is a great buy. I havent found anything it cant chew through. Its great, it really is. Now for the bad, and for me it was a big bad. The OS. Yes, Windows itself. Now, Im not sure where they got the OS from, or what kind of tinkering, or modifications were made to it prior to me opening the box, BUT... it definitely had some big issues. I first noticed something was off when i tried installing the Immersed App, as i got an error code i had never seen before, during installation. I looked it up and found that the code basically said i didnt have the authorization to write the install files in the install location. Which, I thought was bizarre because I had literally just booted this machine up and added my microsoft account, It was brand spanking new, with what appeared to be a fresh install of windows. So i did what any techie would do and researched solutions for this error and found some threads and videos on how to correct this problem. I eventually got it sorted and was able to install all the software I wanted. Or so i thought. I accidentally opened a photo i had saved onto my desktop and a window popped up asking me what program i wanted to open the photo with -- and i immediately noticed there was no Photos app and there was no Windows Legacy photo viewer either. No problem, i thought. So i went to the microsoft store to install the photos app. Except, there wasnt a microsoft store app. At all. Zilch. So I went on yet another quest to find a way to install the store manually. And i found a ton of methods! NONE of which worked, to my shock. I even opened up powershell with elevated system privilages and punched in some commands to forcibly download the packages needed to install microsoft store. And even then, the packages would fail to download after successfully being located from the microsoft host. At this rate, I had already spent about 4 hours *after* initial windows setup trying to sort these strange bugs out. So i decided to start taking steps to slowly correct the issue more aggressively. I ran a system reset (bringing it to the point where i just opened the box and booted up the pc). And this time i did so without an internet connection, since the description here reccomended that. Nope, same issues, same bugs. Same weirdly modified OS. At this point I was irate, not because I ran out of options, but because It was already very late and i hardly got to use this PC the first night, because I was troubleshooting it. So although there were other remaining options, I simply did not want to invest more time in it. I decided to download a fresh copy of Windows from microsoft's website and i downloaded Rufus, and created a Windows boot media on a USB, with the ISO i got from MS. After a quick and painless fresh install using the USB, i booted up, added my microsoft account and got to the desktop. ALL of my issues were resolved. ALL of them. Photos, was there, the store was there, i had ZERO issues installing any and all software. I literally had no issues. SO... as you can see by the length of my review, I felt absolutely compelled to share my experience because unlike me, not everyone is as tech literate as I am, not everyone went to school for IT, so not everyone will know how to troubleshoot this if needed. If you are planning on getting this PC, be prepared for the possibility that your OS has been modified or tampered with. If you have any issues at all with this, skip everything, and just do a clean, fresh install like i did. And save yourself about 5 or 6 hours of trouble. PC = 9.5/10 OS = 1/10

Powerful Performance in a Compact Size
The Beelink EQ12 with Ryzen 7 5825U runs fast and quiet. It handles multitasking, streaming, and light gaming with ease. Great for home office or media center setups. Small size, but big on power, very impressed so far!
