I really like this pot! I use it to make human-grade dog food for my 3 canines. It is very well made of high-quality rust resistant, stainless steel. The bottom is much thicker and denser than the sides, making for a very stable base that allows good heat distribution across the entire bottom. It comes with a top that fits perfectly. Although the handles are stainless as well, I was able to grab the pot from the stove without pot holders. Cleanup is a snap as well, even with stickier foods like rice and salmon. I would definitely buy this again. Oh, and for registering, the manufacturer extends the warranty period and sends you a free gift of magnetic measuring spoons! Excellent!

I was so impressed with the quality of this pot and for the price I got it! I ordered a 16 qt stockpot and it the PERFECT size, not to large, not to small. Also very happy with the sturdiness of the pot, it’s very durable. I will absolutely be purchasing more products from Bakken! Happy I found this brand.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this pot. I purchased the 5qt and liked it so much that I purchased the 8qt pot. The 8qt was less expensive thanks to Black Friday savings. $37 5qt and $33 8qt. Cookware prices are ridiculous these days. These pots are solidly constructed from stainless steel, nice thick bottom, riveted handles with glass lids. The packaging was great, nice and secure. Can't go wrong.

I spent a lot of time reading review after review of all different kinds of pots. I even bought another brand first only to realize it was way too small and returned it. For the price, this is an absolutely amazing stock pot! I wanted the measurements on the inside to help me be precise in my cooking/ with my recipes. It comes with a very nice lid as well. It's not too heavy but it's not cheap and thin like my old tamale pot that I ended up burning the bottom of which made me want a new pot in the first place. If I had more money, I'd consider buying one that had a little heavier bottom but the way my home is set up, this pot is a hassle to wash so it's perfect all things considered. But like one of the other reviews noted, the interior bottom got marked up after just one use. It's not enough to have me mark it less than 5 stars. If it gets worse next time I use it, maybe I'll remove a star but it's pretty perfect so far, a very beautiful pot!

Used a few times, seems to be pretty solid and heavy for a stockpot. It isn't as nice as super high end, but for the average cook, it will do exactly what you need for 99% of the things you need it for.

Absolutely the best cook pot I own! I love that it's easy to clean, heats evenly and is lightweight. The size is perfect for making a pot of chili or any kind of soup, pasta or whatever may be on the menu.

This was a very nice stockpot and just what I was looking for. It is very well made and looks great. The finish is shiny and it looks very attractive.

This 5-quart stockpot is just perfect. Heats quickly and evenly and cleanup is a breeze. The capacity is just what I needed. I’ve used it daily since it arrived for everything from just boiling water to cooking a pound of dried beans and beef stew. Nothing sticks! Highly recommend!

Perfect for canning, my large jars fit perfectly and I could keep an eye on the water. This pot also is great for large batch soup and is easy to clean.

I purchased the 20 quart pot for my induction stove for canning. Just received it today it works perfectly on my stove top, and it's plenty deep for canning. It's good quality stainless steel with heavy bottom. I was nervous as it has a logo on the bottom but it doesn't interfere with the induction. I've included a picture of my regular soup pot beside this behemoth pot, no doubt it's going to be heavy when it's full of water but that's okay. I was struggling with canning anything on this new stove, and now I can can whatever I need to. Note that this does not come with a canning rack so you'll have to buy one separately. I bought a starfrit one for a very reasonable price that fits great into this pot.
