These socks made me realize how much difference good running socks make. They’re soft, wick sweat well, and have extra cushioning that prevents blisters and reduces soreness. I usually wear thin socks, but these feel more supportive and durable. The price is high, but the comfort and quality make it worth it.

love these socks. used to use them years ago and started running again, so needed some new ones. the padding and fit of these is unmatched. superior padding, great wicking, and excellent plantar facia support.

Every time I have to plunk down $20 for these socks, I get sticker shock. But I have to say these socks are well worth it. They are so comfortable -- I don't even know I'm wearing them. They've got the right amount of cushioning and stretch, all in the right places. They fit my feet (size 7 women) perfectly. I never get sweaty feet (just the rest of me). I can play or run in these in all conditions. I have no idea how much science goes into these socks, but it must be significant, because they are perfect (at least for me). They look nice too, although I wish they had more colors...

So far 2 marathon's in these socks! Balega's are a game-changer! From the moment I slipped them on, I could feel the difference in comfort and support. Not quite blister resist, but still a really nice sock! 3.5 stars. I tried these on a through hike alongside Balega Enduro (basically the same sock but thinner), wearing them with Brooks cascadia shoes for about 8-14 mile days on varied terrain. They were great til I got hot and my feet sweat a lot. These definitely are amazingly cushiony and I didn’t get any blisters— til my feet started getting saturated with sweat, and the thickness of the socks didn’t allow them to dry quickly or evenly, inside my shoes or when pinned to the outside of my pack. However, the blisters I did get were smaller and way more manageable than with any other type of sock, and after I covered the blisters, the cushion of these socks was very welcome. So even if you do get blisters with these, it might be a better situation than another sock? Overall these still work great for other purposes and shorter hikes on colder days, and these would probably be ideal to wear with boots. Also my feet sweat quite a lot, so if you’re not on a long hike with very sweaty feet you might expect better results for the blister resist part. They’ve held up nicely in the laundry and have had no issues with pilling, the seam and weave are all tight and high quality. Good value for the money.

I can't recommend these socks enough. I recently did a trail run in the Smoky Mountains with these on, including multiple stream crossings where my shoes got soaked. Guess what? No blisters? They are perfect and I just bought three more pairs for an upcoming race

These are the only socks I will wear for long runs and ultras now. Super comfortable and lots of cushion. I still tape my feet to prevent blisters but I definitely don't get blisters as bad when wearing these.

Excelentes para lo que fueron diseñados, suaves, cómodos, proveen amortiguación extra a la de las zapatillas. Al ser de lana Merino, con el roce si se les hace “piling” pero es natural, recomiendo el lavado a mano y secar al aire. Ojo que es recomendable usarlas cuando se estén probando zapatillas nuevas, para un mejor calce, yo las compré mucho tiempo después y siento que me “roban” espacio en las zapatillas especialmente en la zona de los dedos. Recomendables 100%!!!

De verdad son calcetines que te protegen de tener ampollas aún tras caminatas muy largas. Los recomiendo

Have been using my purchases for a couple of months over a few hundred kilometres of trail runs. The quality of the material are superb. The shape and comfort still holds well even after several washes. I think it will continue to last for many more marathon runs. Well worth the cost. And yes never had a blister. Its Feb 2023 - I bought another 4 pairs in preparation for ultras this year. Only Balega for my feet.
