finally I got the right one
I have been looking for the right sink strainer for the last 5 years. Then I finally got the one that fits our Franke sink, which we bought about 20 years ago. It fits nicely and work properly.

Perfect fit
Perfect in our oldish Franke sink and nice, snug fit. Can't act as a plug, so allows all water through, but trapping any debris. The old one was always twisting shut and filling with water, so actually an improvement!

Fits a 14 year old Franke sink
Finally, a plug that fits my 14 year old Franke sink. The only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is that if you run too much water in the sink (we have very high pressure), it can cause the plug to sink a little and become slow draining.

Finally a fit
Only got it today and it fits beautifully. Our sink we think is a B&Q no name brand so I took a chance on this after having experienced a cheaper alternative and this is streets ahead. Yes it's expensive but the fit and operation is superior to the Stadux which was poorly made, edges were sharp and the spring loaded ball bearing eventually popped out.

Quality of materials not good.
The strainer plug was not the same quality as the original Franke one, but it did fit into the plug hole and it does work.

Perfect Franke sink strainer replacement
Bought this to replace a strainer plug for a 14yr old Franke sink, and it fits perfectly! After the last one stopped letting water pass through in raised position, this one works as it should. A speculative, but great buy!

The product did not work to seal drain and keep water in the sink. Return policy forces you to pay for shipping. Shipping cost is twice the cost of the items. Don’t waste your money !!!
