Fire alarms in my home

This item came in hand only because I was unable to get out to purchase in stores due to weather. It was a little bit pricey but convenient for the purpose in which I needed it immediately. I would hope that the vendor would be a little more aligned with the pricings in the stores.

Batteries are thicker than most.

I bought two single packaged and one of them is dead. It would have been more hassle that it was worth to return the defective (or old) battery.
