These are a bargain. They are solid stainless steel with a good strong spring, and they latch cleanly. Perfect size for use on my kayak for safety lines and anchor trolley connectors. At slightly over 75c each for a 25-pack, they're as cheap as (or cheaper than) many of the weaker aluminum versions with a lot worse springs.

Bought these to hang some planters and other items on our patio cover and they work great!

Bought these to hold gates closed for goats and sheep. Works great, springs are strong and the stainless material keeps things from rusting. Should I need more, I will for sure buy again.

Great for hanging the clear tarps also purchased from Amazon. Keeps rain and snow off the patio in the winter. Good wind blocker.

Unfortunately, they are smaller than I needed. But I am keeping them because I can use them for a different purpose.
