Threadart SS10 (3mm) Crystal Hot Fix Rhinestones 10 Gross (1440/pkg) Hotfix - Iron on - Hot Fix

I have used thousands of the expensive Hot Fix crystals from Michaels; these don't appear to be quite as brilliant and the glue on the back isn't quite perfectly applied as the Swarovski's, but once you are in the spot light, these do the trick just fine. At a fraction of the price, the slight quality loss is worth the savings. Same crystals in a 25 pack are $9.99 regular price at Michaels. Sometimes you can get them for $5. Even at $5 for 25, that makes the equivalent cost at Michaels of about $57!!! Trust me on this one, get 2 packs, these are pretty large & you will go through them quickly. I found that the larger crystals like this are better for stage/spot light. The smaller crystals may be good for understated sparkle, but larger really blings in the spotlight.

I bought these not knowing what to expect. These are such a great quality! I got them in several colors. Each color is beautiful! They ar super easy to use. You get the transfer tape and cut out the sticky flock and just iron them on. ( you can hand place them as well. You don't need to have the transfer tape and the sticky flock. I cut my patterns out on the silhouette Again, not needed. It is so much fun to bling everything up. They get ironed on and I let them "cure" for 24 hours. I don't know that you would need to but the heat transfer vinyl I use you let cure so I do and I have not to this point had any problems. I washed without turning inside out because I know people have the best intentions but it doesn't always happen and they wash up beautifully!!

Initially I thought these were great - only about 10% didn't adhere when heat was applied. I've done six projects with these. What has become extremely apparent is there is not enough adhesive on these. Studs are literally falling off my T shirt onto the ground as I walk around the house. So I ran my hand gently over studs I've added to other areas, many more fell off. This shirt was laundered a few times before I applied the studs so there was no chemical on the shirt to stop proper adhesion. The shirt has not been washed since as this is the first time I've worn it since applying the studs. My floor looks lovely with the sparkles everywhere, but that's not where I wanted them.I would NOT recommend these crystal/rhinestones!

I have not gotten any of these to stay past a day. I have used the hot fix tool and my heat press. They will look good for about 24 hours then they start falling off. Maybe it is user error but I can't get the things to work with out hot glue.

Rhinestones are nice and sparkly, but I have learned that one must be very careful about the colors. Crystal (clear) and the Jet Black seem to be fine, but other colors seem to be inconsistent in matching the picture and with other packages labeled the same color name. I needed an orange color rhinestone, and I ordered Hyacinth where the color in the picture looks orange. I ordered this color in two different sizes. What was delivered was a red and an orange. Both say "Hyacinth", but one is definitely an orange whereas the other could pass for a red. Ugh!!! The red is going back to Amazon. I've tried Fuchsia and Black Diamond as well, and they both seem to be fine too. I'm scared to try the other colors because I'm unsure of what will actually be sent to me.Update 3/3/2016: I've ordered and used what has seems like many of these rhinestone over the past couple of years. The Crystal (clear color) seems to be the most consistent....always sparkly and the hotfix glue on the back doesn't seem to ever fall off and the rhinestones stay on really well. For the other colors (Fuchsia and Black Diamond especially), many of the hotfix glue backings have fallen off in the package which then makes the stones unusable. And for the rhinestones in the same packaging, I've noticed that they do not stay on as well or as long as some of the other colors (especially compared to Crystal) and tend to fall off even with careful hand washing the apparel/material.

Very disappointed that although the size was advertised as SS16/4mm, they were not. How do I know? I purchased the Darice Hot Wand to use with these crystals, and they did not fit. They were too small. Additionally, I purchased more crystals at my local AC Moore (same size, color), and they were a tad bit bigger than the ones from this seller. The varying sizes of SS16/4mm caused me a lot of heartache with my project (gluing rhinestones on my dance shoes) and now I have two different sizes on the shoes. Luckily no one really looks down at shoes, but I'm just annoyed at the principle of not getting what was advertised!

These were a beautiful color and they applied brilliantly. They were perfect for the shirts I was making and the sparkle was amazing! They stayed through the wash and dry cycle and bonded well with the clothing I used them on. I was also able to apply them onto some jewelry pieces that I was making to add a bit of depth. I would recommend these for any projects that you want to add a little or even a lot of bling to. Amazing and would purchase again.

These stones are absolutely stunning! They are the best quality hot fix rhinestones I’ve purchased, they fit in the tool perfectly and there’s plenty of glue to adhere every stone. The AB quality makes them sparkle like crazy but they also look good on my fabric. I look forward to trying all the colors available.

Small than the should have been. Absolutely no sparkle .would not recommend
