SamaN SAM-318-8 8-Ounce Interior Stain for Fine Wood for Seal, Stain and Varnish, Ebony

I cannot boast enough about this wood stain. I discovered it browsing through Amazon and to my surprise, it exceeded my expectations for something I’ve never even heard of before, let alone used before. One of the best parts for me, was the fact that it is odourless and safe to use around pets and indoors. I was able to work on my project in my apartment and not have to worry about any toxic fumes. It is fast drying as well, so there was no need to wait for hours on end for it to dry. I also found (for my particular project) that a little goes a long way with this stain. I managed to stain 3 of my boards (for a 3 tiered TV stand) and only used around 1/4 of the can (only used/needed one coat for desired look). I’m already thinking of what I can stain next lol This stuff is amazing. I’m so happy I discovered it and it definitely deserves a 10/10. The colour in the photos don’t really give it justice because of lighting but, I used Ebony and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Great stain, but the 236ml is NOT a good deal. Mistakenly bought this thinking it was the same size as what I bought at my local hardware store. My mistake. Returned!

Good product

It would take a number of coats to make it a solid colour. One coat is very translucent. Easy clean-up.

I liked the color and the effect after it was painted on, however it scraped off with a fingernail even after drying for several days.
