I love these shorts. I wish there were some in navy or bring back that black camo I see in other reviews! I bought a second pair because I love them so much. I am 5’ 1”, about 125-130, and I tried a small at first. They fit fine everywhere except I didn’t like how much extra fabric was in the back hanging down. I don’t have much of a booty, so the loose long fabric in the back wasn’t doing me any favors. I returned the small and tried an extra small. They fit perfectly now. At least the way I like them to fit. A bit snug in the waistline, but not a deal breaker. The material is soft, smooth and silky. Very lightweight. They haven’t bunched up in the heat, sweat and activity yet. I recommend these for actual exercise and athleisure wear. Cute! Comfy! Functional!

Wow, these are great, well made shorts. super nice and light fabric, comfortable briefs inside, nice smooth and flattering waistband. I’m always between an M and L in most clothes—and the Large fit great. Every bit as nice as more expensive shorts I’ve bought! I’m a fan. Hope they come out with the same short in a 4 inch length too.

All most perfect short ever!! Great material weight, colors, fit, waistband Etc. I am returning, however, due to wearing one time out and about, and there are zero pockets that are useful. There is one on top of your booty that is not useful even to hold your phone during runs as the weight pulls your shorts off. Do not change the waistband add in a small tie string inside the current band!!! I would like the company to know us women don’t just wear these to run/workout. We wear them on a daily as the shorts are so comfortable. PLEASE put side pockets in and a small draw string, please! I would come back and buy 5 pairs and many more for gifts to spread the good word.

Kudos to Tough Mode for making the perfect running shorts. These are super light and allow for freedom of movement. The material handles sweat well, drying quickly, and doesn't scratch, chafe or otherwise irritate the skin. I love the flat, smooth waistband that doesn't pinch or leave marks on my skin like gathered waistbands do. It also doesn't create bulk like the gathered waistbands do. The liner is light as a feather and I don't even realize it's there. It's also the bikini style liner (rather than the bike shorts style) which seems to be harder to find these days for those of us who prefer it. They sit perfectly and comfortably on the waist below the belly button. The length is long enough for coverage but short enough for comfortable movement. All of these design features add up to a high performing pair of shorts with a fitted profile that shows off the results of all the work put into tough workouts. Oh, and they come in lots of great colors. I've already bought two colors and will be adding more to my collection.
