Does the job, the fit was fine. I wish they would’ve included screws.

The provided truss head screws do not work as they stick out too much and impede the door closing. Holes in plate are very large, unable to use any flat head screws due to this.

Fits well and does the job

The cover plates were thick and were about the right size. Not perfect but they were ok. However, the screws were the WRONG type. The CORRECT screws are Machine Screws with fine threads and flat heads which countersink into the cover plate (see screw on right side of picture is the standard screw for cover plates.) Instead, they included sheet metal screws with huge round heads (see screw on left side of picture.) Sheet metal screws have course threads that DO NOT screw into thick metal plate with machine threads. Those screws are NEVER used for this purpose. Also, the large round heads scratch and scrape the edge of the door interfering with its operation. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE JOBSITE WITH THIS PRODUCT ONLY TO HAVE TO STOP EVERYTHING AND GO TO A HARDWARE STORE FOR MISSING PARTS. Everything NEEDED SHOULD BE INSIDE THE PACKAGE AND READY FOR INSTALLATION.

Got these as fillers for the strike plates on two metal door jambs. We removed the doors but left the jambs. These fillers are very thin, required two at each location in order to fill the void. Also the holes for the mounting screws were not countersunk so I had to do that in order to use them. Not a very good product in my humble opinion.
