Castor Oil 4 Fl Oz - with Mascara Wand and Eyeliner Brush

My better half is a health coach, and a big believer in castor oil. Here's what she said, "Castor Oil has been my go-to for its wonderful benefits of nourishing my hair and skin. I'm very particular about choosing only cold-pressed castor oil that's free from parabens, sulfates, and hexane….that’s stored in a dark tinted glass bottle….and this product checks all the boxes. It arrived with a glass bulb dropper, which had me puzzled for a moment – turns out you need to remove the plastic cap before it will fit into the bottle (a little 'aha' moment for me!). Plus, it includes two tiny glass vials for mascara and eyeliner. I've found the eyeliner vial to be a multitasker, perfect for nourishing my lash line and pampering my cuticles. Love this kit!"

She is trying to grow out her lashes and she seems to notice a difference. I’ve always used it for our hair and I’ve used it for my lashes and brows.

I've been using if for about 4 weeks now and I'm noticing a very big difference. The only problem is transferring the oil into the other tubes is quiet messy as the dropper is too big.

This came in a big 4 ounce bottle with a bulb dropper and two vials, one containing a small spoolie brush and the other containing a very tiny paintbrush looking thing, kind of like what nail techs use for painting detail work designs. I'm not sure what it's for but it was nice to get extra stuff with the oil.It's very moisturizing! My skin gets really dry in the winter so I put a few drops of this oil into my lotion and it makes it extra luxurious and feels so good on my skin. It absorbs really quickly too and that surprised me, I would've expected it to be a lot greasier than it is.I haven't tried it on my hair yet but it does wonders for dry skin.

There are MANY different brands of castor oil on the market, and most are probably pretty similar. However, I try to avoid the brands that look really questionable and/or of unknown origin. Essentially KateS seems to be a decent brand; I've purchased one of their aromatherapy oils a couple of times in the past and was always pleased with the quality. This oil comes with a glass bottle, a dropper, and a brow and lash wand for product application, if so desired. I hope it's actually hexane free and cold-pressed, though there is no way to tell for certain. If it is, it's a good value for the product.

This is very thick but I still like it . You can tell it’s 100 pure castor oil .

They make a big deal about the dropper and other things included but the eye dropper is too big for the bottle, the top of the dropper does not screw onto the bottle because the dropper screw top does not fit onto the bottle. So once I used the dropper, I had to take it out of the bottle but now that the dropper is covered in castor oil, how am I supposed to store this sticky, gooey mess? I can't leave the bottle open as it can be accidentally knocked over and it should be sealed after each use to retain the product quality. This was a bad purchase..and I think I need to return it. It's a mess and a waste of money! This company needs to come up with a better solution - like a dropper that can also be used as a cap for the bottle. What a shame that they cannot offer a better solution to seal this bottle.

Prior to using this particular castor oil, I’ve never used it on my hair or lashes. I have and do use castor oil on packs on my skin-often.This castor oil is thick. Yes castor oil is usually pretty viscous but this one is so thick and sticky. It feels like extra sticky glycerin or honey. It smells a little nutty like sesame or peanut but also like a strong olive oil. The scent isn’t particularly pleasant but it’s not rancid yet.I don’t like the feel, it’s too sticky. I use it a few hours (or as much as I can tolerate) on my scalp. I usually work out, then wash it out immediately. I haven’t noticed a huge difference with use but will say it’s extremely hydrating. Everywhere I put it get very soft even after washing.
