Really is fool proof. Blew a spark plug on my 02 F250 with the 5.4 on the passenger side rear. Was really not looking forward to doing the repair. Watched a YouTube video, and swapped out in about a half hour. My electric impact was able to cut through the aluminum head and add new threads without much effort, very easy to use. The directions made sense, and the kit included everything I needed except for the parts to fix it. I was able to get the car back on the road for right at 100 in parts and me doing the labor. Very inexpensive. Would recommend using a camera to verify the piston is low enough, and to verify you got all the shavings out. Remember to use lubrication when cutting the threads as well. Everything looks good, and the truck is back on the road. I'll hold onto the other 7 adapters for when they go bad too

Worked like a charm on my '97 F-150 5.4L Triton! Purchased a borescope camera with mirror attachment to be able to verify both valves were closed. Be sure to follow the directions and watch several YouTube videos on how to use this style kit to make sure you don't cause worse damage to your motor.

used it on 02 F150 XLt 4x4 crew cab with 5.4 triton. Its easy to use and worked well. Get red lock tight for insert along with JB weld to put around top flange of insert. Youtube shows you what to do. and anti seize for spark plug. Did this first time, and only issue was not being careful. I dropped a piece of coil pack down hole when removing it. So cover the hole before you go. otherwise, I am happy with the kit and have backup for next time if that comes along. Oh have a beer on hand too...lol.
