Beautiful Product
The urn enabled us to have a beautiful ceremony without the risk of the ashes floating on the surface to be run over by a passing boat. It floated for 1 minute without change and then the bottom part with the ashes gently released the ashes and the bottom “bowl” (the part that is glued to the lily top) to the bottom of the lake. The top lily portion stayed afloat as we hugged each other and then it slowly broke apart and sunk. This product is a beautiful piece of art that functioned perfectly.

What a beautiful way to send off a loved one!
This past weekend, my family and I gathered with friends to send off our great aunt. This urn was PERFECT! Seeing it bob in the water after we said our prayers and remembrances was just lovely. I would recommend this urn to anyone. There is some glueing and transfering of the ashes to the biodegradable bag that comes with the urn kit, but the directions are easy to understand and it worked out just fine. Just make sure to do the transfer of ashes outside...

A beautiful farewell
My husband wanted to be scattered in the ocean. After quite a bit of indecision, i finally chose this lily. It is much prettier in person. Our family took turns decorating it with meaningful drawings that reminded us of who he was. We filled the biodegradable inner bag ourselves. The directions say to use all the glue, which seemed a bit excessive. When you apply clips, the glue oozes out from between the plates and is somewhat messy. Also the package does not indicate how long it takes to dry. We assembled it the night before, and it wasn't dry the next morning, which caused some concern. We chartered a sailboat and released it three miles from shore. It was a short drop from the boat into the ocean. Despite the wet glue, it survived the drop without coming apart. We had placed flowers on top, and it rode the waves as The Blue Danube Waltz played in the background. It floated aound twenty minutes before starting to disintegrate. It was a beautiful farewell to a life well lived. I was pleased with the flower urn, and would recommend it.

BEAUTIFUL BUT BEYOND DISAPPOINTING
First of all….this is absolutely beautiful! This is a work of art! When I first received it I was very pleased and felt this would be a beautiful way to honor my fathers wishes. I felt it would be ceremonial and far more elegant than just dumping his ashes in the water. My sister and I followed the directions word for word. We knew it might only float for one minute but we chose very calm waters and hoped that maybe we might get closer to the 5 minutes of the 1-5 minutes of float time noted in the description. I’m very sad to say that the entire thing sunk immediately. I mean IMMEDIATELY. It was beyond disappointing. There was no beautiful drifting away…. it just sunk. The top piece separated and broke off and the bottom part sunk. ZERO float time. It was the opposite of what we had envisioned. Of course it’s frustrating to have spent a significant amount of money on this, but had it worked it would have been well worth it because it definitely is hand made and beautiful. The more disappointing thing was that we didn’t get that beautiful intentional moment of our father being set out for his final sail in a ceremonial moment. We were so exact on following the directions and this moment can’t be redone. I’m still struggling to make peace with it. Very sad and very disappointed.

Unbiased Opinion
UNBIASED OPINION. I have not been paid for or received anything for my review. In the images, you can see all the contents received and required to assemble and use. The urn is large in diameter, but very shallow in depth. That means that it will not hold a lot of ashes. We were unable to put all of the remains inside, but I was aware of that before I purchased. It can also be a little messy if you are transferring ashes from one container to another. But I was aware of that too before purchasing. I masked and gloved up in advance and transferred outside. You may also have the option of giving the biodegradable bag to the crematorium for them to fill. It does require a little time and effort to add the glue and clip the edges. But the final affect was a very pretty urn, especially after we added fresh flowers. Overall it was a good purchase and I would purchase again.

Good Value and you can personalize with flowers or plants
Complete Kit.... all you need to do is add the ashes. We used the included biodegradable glue to add palm leaves, succulents and a few orchids. Easy to maneuver. We took out a Duffy Boat and then gently leaned over and laid upon the water. It floated a few minutes then sank. Bobbed back up once and went down. It was just a perfect kit for a last goodbye to our father. I know many reviews online say that it is a pricey..... but all in all, I do not feel that way. It was boxed securely, had all the the items necessary to get the job done and environmentally friendly. I know what things cost and feel the value was their. We own a floral shop and I would love to have these to sell and decorate for our customers.

Worked ok but overpriced and description has incorrect facts
Cons: There are done misleading claims in the product description. It says it is 6” high, but it’s really only just over 4” high. It claims to hold 200 cubic inches, but I measured a box of sand that held 192 cubic inches and there was absolutely no way it would fit. You get the urn, clips, glue, and biodegradable bag for the ashes, but the urn was just pressed paper and it all seemed overpriced to us. Pros: All that being said, our ceremony went without a hitch and it worked as advertised: the urn floated away from the boat for about 30 seconds, then slowly sank in to the water. The water was clear so we could see that the urn didn’t just immediately sink like a rock but sank slowly. I give the performance 5 stars. Tip: if you do buy this product, after the glue dries and the plastic clips are removed, squirt a liberal amount of glue all around the outside to get a good seal; use your finger to push the glue into the seam as you work your way around the bowl. Thus insures there are no small missed cracks where the ashes might escape.

This urn was perfect for my mother water burial, the flower was beautiful when all was prepared, it glued good, everyone put a flower on top, and we placed or in the ocean with the urn full of flower and we watch her leave for her next life…was beautiful and this urn made it possible.

This works as described. Its a very nice urn. We each laid a fresh flower on top before we set it sail and once it sunk, about 2 min, the fresh flowers dispersed out into the water. Beautiful.

I ordered this for myself. When I opened it, it was a piece of art. Absolutely gorgeous. I have shown this piece off to many friends an family. My only concern, and I could be completely wrong - is the bowl in the middle big enough for all of the remains? I will have to ask an expert.
