In 2005, I had a gall bladder operation that went very wrong on the operating table. The vein to the liver was cut or torn, resulting in a near bleed to death then and there. Having survived that, I had to have half of my liver (which was no longer getting blood) removed a few weeks later. I survived that as well. But then the weight pretty much just slammed on and I had a "bowling ball" belly just below the ribcage. It was large, hard and round. I read it and decided it was sound and health oriented. I tried it for about a month, and improved enough to look into her newest book: Fatty Liver: You Can Reverse It. The title carries a bit of a stigma, but if you've got it, admit it and deal with it. I did. Everything she spoke about described my condition to a tee. I was sufficiently curious enough to try the capsules, though I thought they were a bit pricey. I ordered the Livatone Plus. I recommend following the instructions and regime exactly as stated. I felt a little "off" right after taking them in the morning for the first week. That was mild, but noteworthy. It passed. Combined with the diet, I began to feel dramatically better the second week. I found that juicing fresh vegetables and eating raw salads and fruits gave me energy and optimism I had long since written off as my past life. I never took these capsules for weight loss. I had resigned myself to weighing 235 for the rest of my life, if I could just be the healthiest possible, and hopefully I would not continue to gain. But then,to my surprise, very very slowly, weight began to come off. In the past 8 months I have lost 25 pounds. I have reduced my waist by 4 inches. I still have the "bowling ball" but it is much smaller, more like a canteloupe size and is much softer than before. I have enthusiastically told my doctors about this. They respond with "interesting... it seems to be working, and the Livatone Plus does not seem to have any harmful ingredients (I showed them)... keep it up!" Mind you, may I state again, I am not trying to lose weight. I am trying to improve my health. If I remain at 210, so be it. Just let me be my best 210. And ...no, I do not follow the diet to the letter every day. I DO take the capsules along with the recommended vitamins. Other benefits I now enjoy: reduction in blood pressure, reduction in acid reflux, better memory function. I can live with this. Let me say that again... I can LIVE with this.

I have done say 25 liver flushes with lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil. Every time expelling hundreds of stones. After using this product I had done another liver flush and not a single gallstone came out of me. So it's clear the Glycine and Phos. Choline are working to dissolve not only liver gallstones but also kidney stones. It's quite amazing! Your body will noticeably change and in time you will lose weight and look and feel a lot healthier as long as your not drinking alcohol, soda, and any dairy products or bread of any kind including rice and pasta noodles. I weigh 200 lbs. now. I started at 230 lbs when i started to eat organic foods only and organic juices with no soda and minimal fast food. I lost 30 lbs from diet change and significant weight loss was instantly achieved with the extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice. One thing that made my weight loss easier was Now Foods Magnesium Oxide powder and orange flavored fiber powder and distilled water. That allows for awesome digestive efficiency and you can lose 5 lbs over night. Amazing product and I 100% suggest to anyone! One thing you need to remember is you really need to take this for the rest of your life because of today's toxins and pollution we need to supplement Phos. I used this for a long time and love it. Dr. Cabot is wonderful and her office staff is excellent. I know for a fact that this product works and is very effective. I have used it with good results, but decided I had to stop because it has soy and my son cannot have soy. I would be so happy if they reformulated it. I want to use it, but my son's allergies come first. The thing is, so many people who have food allergies will have a liver problem to begin with since the gut lining has been compromised, allowing undigested food particles into the bloodstream where they don't belong. Therefore, the liver will be very over-burdened in this situation. My son really needs a liver product that works since his liver is a tremendous issue. You can tell just by looking at him. This is my number one choice, so I hope they will consider my comment. I have tried other liver formulations and this is the best. That is why I gave it four stars instead of five.

My elevated liver enzymes normalised after 2 months on Livatone Plus (2 capsules twice a day). Now on the second bottle. It also seems to lower my blood sugar as well. My mum started on the capsules for slightly more than a week and said her vision seems clearer! Great product!
