I absolutely LOVE this lip balm! Yeah, it's expensive compared to others but it is worth it. Can I tell you a secret? Put this on dry skin under your nose during a cold. Works miracles! AND dab a little on drying up ACNE spots....miracle stuff. Healing! I use this on my lips AND FACE when needed. I trust it that much. Keeps lips in great shape and heals/soothes areas on the face (even tender waxed areas). I'll never use another.

I love this lip balm. Nothing helps for my chronically dry lips, I’ve tried everything from $1 to a $100 chapstick. That’s one of my top one and I keep buying it. It doesn’t make your lips greasy, takes time to apply, it’s a thicker product that requires layering but stay on your lips for a long time and keep them hydrated and healthy.

This is great quality, but I’m giving it 4 stars because I don’t like the chapstick that is very waxy. This seems to be waxy to me, though one of my friends loves it which is why I gave it a go. It feels very nourishing, I just don’t prefer the waxy type of feel. It’s a “me” thing! I could have totally missed this texture feel if you see it included in the description of the products, so if so, I apologize!

I have tried a lot of lip balms, and almost none of them are actually moisturizing. Then I found Drunk Elephant's lip balm and it was a huge improvement (actually moisturized). I thought I was all set for lip balm, and then I tried Dr Rogers, and it's even better. It doesn't have great "slip" if you will when you apply it, but it is super effective when used twice a day after washing your face and brushing your teeth (I use a little face wash after brushing my teeth to remove any toothpaste residue which also helps). I do need to use it twice a day after I've wet my lips for it to be effective. To the reviewer who said she thought Chapstick is more effective--it's not.

I think chapstick is more hydrating. And less expensive.

I’ve been using this product for a couple weeks now. This lip balm may be on the more expensive end for one tube, but it is worth the price. This company is committed to full transparency with ingredients, and their balm is made of only 3 things: Castor Oil, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil (Castor Wax). As someone who can’t have olive, avocado, gluten, or coconut, Doctor Rogers Lip Balm is a great alternative to other lip balms. The texture is silky, has soft glossy sheen upon application, and keeps my lips moist for an extended period.

Not sure about this lip balm. It is very heavy and feels waxy. It doesn’t go on smoothly at all! Maybe it will protect lips better so I will keep trying it . Do not expect a smooth slippery soft feeling product.

I have allergies to fragrance and beeswax so finding lip balm can be a challenge. I’m also trying to avoid regular use of lanolin so I don’t develop an allergy to that too. This lip balm is really nice! Took a little getting used to but my lips are happy with it.
