These height modules are the final addition to my home theater system that makes it a true 5.1.2 arrangement. The extra spatial dimension they add to the already awesome sound of the Definitive Technology front, center, and rear surround speakers is just what I was hoping for. DT has a habit of packaging their products in very protective Styrofoam fitted boxes along with individual drawstring bags for each speaker, which is a nice touch. The user manuals are also very well put together and leave nothing else wanting. Fitting the modules atop my BP9020s was very straightforward and neat. They fit positively into the niche provided with a solid, built-in connection, no plugs or wires to mess with. The amp connections for the modules are on the back of the BR9020s, making connection to the AV receiver a breeze. Once the connections were done and the auto calibration of the Sony AV receiver that powers them was complete, all that was left was to sit back, dial up a Dolby Atmos enabled movie (Netflix and HBO Max have a lot of them, but Hulu so far has none) and enjoy the immersive sound. The Sony receiver is equipped with DTS:Xs mode called "Neural-X" that synthesizes spatial sounds for the height modules from non-Dolby Atmos sources as well, which is usually quite good. I haven't decided on a favorite between the two, but I will soon! If you are considering buying these modules you are already familiar with the quality and accuracy of DT speakers. These will certainly add to your enjoyment of their already amazing sound. I highly recommend adding them to your system. By the way, you may have to trade up to another AV receiver to enjoy the full effects if your current one is not Dolby Atmos and/or DTS:X enabled and has the additional height surround speaker jacks.

The speaker speaks for itself (although a bit complicated to find it’s right setting) Heimkinowelt is very quick with shipping and even contacted me to confirm shipping status as they weren’t able to confirm my address. Great customer service!

It's rare that I add anything to my home theater setup that elicits a reaction from my wife; usually because it's not a noticeable enough change for her to realize something was new. After watching 2 minutes of a movie she said "WOAH! This sounds amazing; what did you change?!" (This reaction, immediately justified the purchase for me.) I had nice set of bookshelf speakers on the wall being used for surround, and they sounded "good".... the Dymension DM95's are a slightly larger footprint than my old surround speakers, however the build quality is much better. The DM95's are SOLID, they have nice foam feet to protect the wall and isolate vibration, and the sound is crystal clear. (They complement my Def Tech BP8080ST's & matching center channel wonderfully.) I always tell people that purchasing audio equipment is difficult because it's very subjective; what sounds good to me may not sound AS good to you. It's truly personal preference.... I was skeptical about these surround speakers, but hearing is believing, and I'm a believer!
