I used to have a similar item from a long time ago and it felt more "heavy" or sturdy, which these did not feel. I think comparably these are a lower quality but it does its job if you don't have a big bag with many items. I tried hanging my purse and lunch bag which may have overloaded the weight and it broke. Since it comes in a 4-pack I was able to distribute it to my friends and family and so far I think their experience was positive with it. Another issue I had was also that if a table or bar were too thick, the hook won't accommodate the thick table and I can't hang my bag. Overall decent if you want to hook a purse without too many items inside and you can only use it if the table isn't too thick. I still keep it in my purse in case I'm ever able to use it or need to.

I gave these out to three friends at lunch. Unfortunately the tabletop was too thick. Works well otherwise. Much better than putting purse on floor - dirty - or hanging on back of chair - stolen. Folds up small so easy to carry in purse. Butterflies were popular.
