Excellent work by the great masonic thinker General Pike. Actually any student of the mysteries, esoterism etc... has to buy all his books. You have to read some parts of this book several times to begin to grasp the material. It give you essential masonic knowledge. It is NOT for a beginner masonic student. To Truly and easily "Stand Under" or "understand" the meaning of this book and other books by the author, Knowledge in angelic (Chetab Hamalachim)--, kabalistic,sacred alphabet, Samaritan alphabet, "the passing of the river" and the "Cipher" and many other things are required. Hermetic philosophy and masonic astronomy/Astrology are also helpful. My comments concerning the publisher and concerning this particular publication: Some of the Hebrew, Greek etc.. words are unreadable or barely readable even the characters in the whole book text are faint and sometimes hardly to read. When I was reading the book I had to check a lot of barely readable terms in Hebrew and Greek from other sources.
