Great cookbook, tons of wild game recipes!
I actually went to the MeatEater Live tour as well, and this book has so many amazing recipes I’m thoroughly thrilled! So many different types of cooking techniques associated with each recipe to bring out the maximum amount of flavor. If you’re a MeatEater fan or you are looking for a book that has an incredible assortment of different recipes, this book is for you!

Good cookbook!
Great for people who hunt and want to try a variety of recipes! It explains how to butcher your animal and a few recipes/meals to try that go with each animal.

So many creative recipes
My family are big fans of the show, Meat Eaters and received this recipe book as a gift. I am shocked at how many recipes are inclined, along with full color pictures and fun anecdotes. As big canoers, we have tried out several of the recipes and have had great success!

I have been watching Steve Rinella for years, I love his no nonsense methods and matter fact views on hunting/cooking and the wilderness. This is so much more than a cook book, it’s a guide to a sustainable self providing way of life. Even though I reside in Australia, the recipes can easily be adapted for Australian game species.
