While the product is good, its quality of being absorbent makes it absorb the spillage. When I wash it, the mat also absorbs the soapy water. So it’s difficult to clean because you have to ensure all the absorbed soap water has been removed from the mat.

I am very happy with this pet feeding mat. It absorbs water quickly and keeps the area around my cat's bowls clean and dry.
