Great fit for the money!!!!!
Very satisfied with this roof rack. Was really easy to assemble and install. Would definitely recommend it as a cheaper alternative to the more expensive ones out there plus NO HOLES in my roof. Now to see how it holds up to some wear and tear. Seems really sturdy though!!!

Noisy!
This rack is extremely noisy if driving above 25 mph. I tried a number of modifications to try to get the front windscreen to stop flapping at speed. I finally got tired of trying to make it work and bought another type of rack.

Great but noisy
Update: TLAPS roof rack. In town, this rack looks great. No issues with sound and I get all the compliments. I took a trip to Corpus Christi Tx last weekend… on the highway, this rack talks more than my 10yr old daughter when the new Sleeptoken song comes out. At about 60 mph the whistles start. Every so often there is a buffering sound I can legitimately describe as an AH-64 Apache maneuvering at high speeds.I’m not sure where the whistle is coming from. The Helicopter noise, I think, is coming from the front faring. The metal is thin and moves with the wind. I think I can put some foam sandwiched between another piece and that will fix it.I still like the rack, just have to turn up the radio real loud on road trips.

Works better then you think
I decided to be the guinea pig for this rack as there was no reviews about it for the Colorado here or eBay so I bought it and took a chance. Glad I did. Packaging was well done, instructions were ok, putting it together was easy and installing it was easy as well with a hand to get it on the roof. Remember to put the brackets in the right spots as they are labeled for front and rear. Holds decent weight and is very sturdy for a hook on type rack. For the price it is well worth it and you don’t have to worry about drilling holes. It will sit about 4.25 inches high from center of roof at the lowest setting.I dont see any mounting hardware for anything you want to install on the rack yet but I’m sure there will be with some time since this item seems to have come around very recently. Ratchet straps for now are fine.

Feels unsafe over a couple of months.
Rack needs a lot of maintenance over time.I have an eight foot ladder on my rack and i drive around all over Los Angeles with it for work. After about 3 months of the rack being on i noticed that the foam pads were sliding back and the rack was sliding forward.I’ve retighten it over and over again and eventually it just keeps sliding forward from driving. I don’t feel safe with a product that slides this much. I’m worried it’ll slide off while I’m driving on the freeway.
