Great bulletin board for outside use. We bought some last year for our nature area and loved them so much we bought some more this year. Keeps things out of the weather and safe. Easy to get into to change it up.

UPDATE: They contacted me and wanted photos of the problem. In the process of taking them I examined it closely and determined that the lock was not actually defective, merely installed poorly and the nut holding it was loose, so the entire body of the lock spun rather than just the cylinder. I tightened it (which is challenging as there is not much to hold on to, probably why its loose in the first place) and it seems to be holding now. Accordingly I added a couple of stars for merely being poorly put together rather than defective.Just put it up yesterday. The "lock" is completely useless, falls open over time without anyone even trying to open the door. I wasnt expecting Fort Knox, but being able to carry the thing to its location without the door falling open would have been nice. And it doesnt require the key, a toothpick opens it just fine. Dont yet know if its weatherproof, but if the door swings open on its own I cant picture the stuff inside staying very dry.

This announcement bulletin board is attached to a post outdoors for our HOA. The true test will come when it rains -- how weather-resistant will this box be? The last one we bought from a different vendor was supposed to be waterproof but only lasted a year before water damage ruined it. I'm really hoping this one, which seems sturdier, will last much longer.

Solid case and works well as I had hoped for.
