Love it. Its comfortable, charge lasts all day, great sound quality, detachable mic, and it's cute! If I had any complaints it would be that it turns off when you plug it in to charge and you have to turn it back on if you're using it while it's charging.

I was really suspicious of these because I see them all over Instagram so I thought that it was gonna be a poor product. I’m so happy I got these. They’re absolutely adorable and they work really well. The sound quality is amazing and the microphone works great. I love the fact that it has a wireless or plug-in option so you don’t have to worry about the battery dying on the headset. You can just plug it into the controller and it still works. There’s only two minor things I would say I was not 100% happy about. The first one is that when I wanna turn the light off of the headset on the app, I have to do it twice. So I have to press the light off button. Wait a couple seconds and then the light on the headset comes back on again and then I have to turn it off. But after that it’ll stay Off. It’s not enough for me to wanna return the product. The second minor thing was in the beginning was that they’re super tight the very first time you wear them maybe the first two times. So you just gotta wear them a couple times or at least a long period of time and they stretch out and they’re really comfortable after that.

I LOVE THEM! I was afraid to buy them at first because I wasn’t sure if they would be worth it but trust me they are. It has different color settings which you can manage on your phone or manually. It’s has different LED settings. Very comfortable on your ears and great sound. I’d definitely buy again.

For what you’re paying for, you are being jipped. If your computer does not have Bluetooth, you’re screwed on the detachable mic. You need to buy a separate 1:2 cable; which only works for surround sound/dual sound (say you want to hear audio from both a call and a video game)— IF your computer isn’t reading these as YOWU headphones. It also lowers the quality of sound + you sound underwater. Janky rigging + a separate mic bought later, my sister has had these for all of less than a week and on certain color settings it’s already making a whirring noise on the pink RGB light setting, and everything but red and blue at different volumes. The fit is fine, but seriously; for something marketed towards gamers yet only accessible via some towers (since we’re mostly corded, since Bluetooth can be janky at the worst moments in real time gaming— we don’t HAVE a dongle for Bluetooth for her set up.) This product is totally not user friendly or worth your money. Oh! And even if you’re hooked via Aux, you still need to have your Type C plugged in. To charge it. So double corded, one extra 1:2 dongle bought separately which should be included with the purchase of YOWU’s since Customer Support said there’s no other way around it and we’d need it in order to use them(??????), and a desktop mic since the sound was degraded— later: Just buy cat ear attachments for your favorite headphones. It becomes less charming and cute the more you deal with problems. Unless you want Bluetooth headphones for connecting to your phone to play music! In which case; it’s just fine. (Although razer sells Bluetooth cat headphones for $62.)

This is a neat headset. I was afraid of buying it considering the price (I am very much a cheap person who doesn't usually buy headsets over 40$) and the reviews saying that it doesn't work with co op gaming. I only use a microphone to occasionally communicate with friends when we game. I decided to say "screw it" and bought it from Amazon, knowing full well if it doesn't pan out for me I could just return it. This headset was really cute and I wanted to get it for the aesthetics alone, but I was prepared to buy an external mic if I had to. I still think I might do that anyway considering the mic quality of the headset isn't that great, but it is decent enough that it will satisfy me for quite a while. My old 30 dollar headset had an infinitely better noise cancelling mic than this one does, and considering the 120 dollar price point of this headset, you'd expect better. At least the sound quality itself is quite good. When I got these in, I immediately started messing with them, and let's just say that these are finnicky as hell. Sometimes they pair, sometimes they don't, sometimes they drop bluetooth and they won't even pair at all when they're plugged in. I haven't used them plugged in yet and I only use them on bluetooth for now, but when the battery on these inevitably dies I'll switch to plugged in and see what happens. But, anyway, let me continue.. These are best for small heads. If you got a bigger head you're not gonna like wearing these. I have a head on the smaller side and these even feel a bit tight, but I think I just need to break them in a little bit. They aren't nearly as comfortable as the cheap 30 dollar headset I bought before them, these actually make me get a slight headache after some hours of use, which isn't the best thing, but I'll tolerate it, considering the sound quality of these are actually really, really good. The sound is crisp and it has reasonable bass, which spoils me considering my last headset didn't have any bass to speak of, really. I am more than willing to tolerate the tightness I feel from the headphones just because they're so dang cute and sound really good. At least they are comfortable to wear with glasses (I need my glasses at all times, my sight is very bad). I just think they need to have a bit more width stretch to be perfect but maybe the more I wear them they'll start to fit better, I'm unsure as of now. And yes, they do feel heavy and that's something I am going to need to adjust to, as well. When I got the headset I made sure to set it up with the mic so I could use discord. Yet another quirk of these headphones is when you use the mic, the audio quality in the speakers drops exponentially. I found it is usually remedied with a re-pairing and by turning the headphones off and then on again, but getting the microphone itself to work is very finnicky. I have no idea how YOWU as a company managed to screw this up but it's actually very impressive how weird these headphones get just when you're using the mic. I will say after altering app permissions, restarting and repairing the headphone numerous times, and just threatening it with domestic violence, you CAN get it to work with co op gaming.. but it is usually too much trouble to fight with it literally every time you plan to vocalize with someone, so I am just going to invest in an external mic and completely forgo the one on this headset. Considering the price of these headphones, and the fact they're advertised for gaming, that is really terrible. They work perfectly fine when recording yourself or when you're solo gaming, but for some reason when you add multiple people into the mix it starts acting really weird. It's like the mic is shy, I don't get it. These aren't completely noise cancelling which is actually perfect for me. I have PTSD and I don't feel comfortable not being able to hear my surroundings (plus I live with a roommate who prefers to yell at me from across the house rather than actually come and get me). So if you want something that completely blocks out the outside world this isn't it. These have a very premium build quality feel to them and they come in a beautiful box with a nice case and cords that actually feel very soft to the touch. The App that is advertised to work with these headphones only works for certain devices, it wouldn't work with my old 2019 android which sucks. I recently bought a new phone so they will probably work with that new phone when I get around to trying it. Keep in mind if you have an older phone the yowu app probably won't work for you. All in all I give it 3/5 stars. It's a good headset but I think it's a bit expensive considering what you get. I think a 60 dollar price point would've been a lot more reasonable.

10 month update and troubleshooting. I want to update my review because I really love these headphones. The only issues I have run into with the headphones which has been present since day 1 is the MUST be using the ‘gaming’ sound profile in the Yowu app when they are powered off otherwise when they are turned back on again they are very quiet. Switching them back to gaming and turning them off and on again fixes the issue. Secondly (this might be my own fault) the headphones MUST be VERY close to the dongle when powering on or this will result in a connection issue which results in low volume like the previously mentioned issue and requires them to be turned off and on again. I don’t have this problem with Bluetooth, only with the dongle and there’s a lot of interference around me with different broadband devices nearby that could be interfering with it. I have issues with other devices connections nearby also so I don’t fault the headphones for this but I think it’s important to include if anyone else experiences this same issue. Now onto the updated review. It’s been 10 months. I still use them nearly every day for multiple hours per day. I have experienced none of the issues reported by negative reviews. The mic quality is very good. I have used it on Discord on both blue tooth and the dongle and been told it’s very clear. There’s been no wear and tear on the ear pads which has actually really surprised me because of how soft they are. I really feel like they’d be more fragile but they’ve held up very well. The battery is still as good as when I bought it. I’ve actually had a lot of difficulty trying to fully drain it but I did actually finally manage to drain them after about about a solid 8+ hours with the lights on at maximum volume. So the battery is very good. There’s been no issues with the build quality or the lights or anything else. I’m really not sure why these things get negative reviews, they VERY good quality. Original review: Out of the box they come with a hard shell case, Aux cable, USB-C charging cable, fast charger, detachable microphone and dual USB-C/USB 2.0 dongle. They pair quickly to Bluetooth and switching between input methods is easy and immediate. They have a very light weight smartphone app that allows custom or preset lighting and audio profiles. They're loud and have great frequency range with clear, deep, pounding bass and no clipping at max volume. They're extremely comfortable - I have a large head and ears and wore them for several hours with no signs of discomfort. The pads cup around your ears and rotate freely from the cans which stops them from causing any friction. These things are marketed towards women and women are small - I am neither of those things and they fit great. They have great audio cancellation and no leakage. I was unable to hear any external sounds. The only thing I would like to have seen with these is some kind of safety feature that can disable audio cancellation. The build quality is all plastic but very solid with no creaking. The fact that the cups rotate also helps prevent this. All of the controls are really simple and easy to use. Battery life seems quite good. I've yet to actually fully drain them despite wearing them for several hours at a time with the lights on. Everything about these things is really intuitively designed and as added bonus the cat ears serve as an easy indicator to never put them on backwards. They are better quality than the Monster and Sennheisers I've purchased over the past 10 years for the same price. All in all I really couldn't recommend these enough if you want some fun looking headphones that sound great. YOWU has earned itself a fan.

The audio is really bad and the mic is even worse. On top of that all when you want to return it you dont get all your money back. I would recommend to get another one because this one is not worth it.
