I did NOT know kammarkattu, kalkona and maanga pulippu mittai are available in amazon 😆 As a child I used to love these when my grandpa would buy these for me daily whenever I visited him in Ramnad. He'd buy a big handful for me and my brother and we'd stuff it all in our pockets and savour them throughout the day. But I've forgotten all about them these 30 years. That's until last week when I visited a friend in Bangalore and he gave us a few pieces of kammarkattu I asked where he bought them from and immediately ordered everything this brand (CandyVille) has. I got a 6 pack combo that has kammarkattu, fruit mix, peanut roasted candy, orange candy, mango candy and guava. Except for 2, I've opened all tins. And I've got to say.. I'm going to buy these regularly. The roasted coconut and peanut and kammarkattu are my favorites. The roasted flavor is unique. I think it's healthy too because unlike other "chocolates", this doesn't have too much sweetness and fattiness.. that means less calories and (slightly) less sugar.. it's not addictive, but is sweet enough to satisfy my post-meal sweet tooth. Which is why I'm considering ordering these again.. to have it as a staple in my pantry whenever I feel like eating a small sweet, without fearing raising my blood sugar and risking diabetes The packing was good too.. And I love that these traditional sweets have found their way to the online shopping world.

It reminded me of pan pasand toffee that we used to eat in childhood so inwent ahead and bought. Much to my disappointment it not only doesnt not taste anything like it, this one is not tasty in any of the parameters. All you feel is a mint feeling which is does not make you feel fresh because of the other elements in it. Along with mint there is a slight bitter taste. You wont get Pan taste even remotely. Not sweet at all either. I am not going to even finish the box. Very expensive if i look at the quantity and the quality

It's a good candy to refresh our mood & memories of our childhood with paan & mint flavour infused in it every one just loved it💗
