Perfect for metal—effortless speed, precision, and control
As a guitarist who’s been playing metal for a long time, I’ve gone through countless picks, always looking for something that feels right. After trying the stealth variety pack, I knew these crimson picks were the ones. I’ve never played a pick that feels this locked-in, this effortless, and I had to grab a full pack. The curved, beveled tip is perfect for gallops, triplets, fast alternate picking, and string-skipping riffs—everything just flows. The way it snaps off the string gives riffs that tight, percussive bite without dragging, and it keeps up with whatever I throw at it. Downpicking is aggressive and punchy, tremolo picking is smooth, and lead runs have this sharp articulation that cuts through the mix. What really makes these stand out is how they work with the thumb. Instead of relying too much on wrist movement, the shape and grip let me control everything with my thumb, making fast patterns smoother and more efficient. It molds perfectly into my grip, giving me sharper attack with less effort, which means I can play longer without burning out. The raised nodes and concave grip keep it in place no matter how hard I’m playing, so I’m never readjusting mid-riff. I’ve been a Jazz III 2.0mm player for years, and they’re still my go-to for other genres, but for heavier playing? These are my new must-haves. I’ve never used picks that feel this good for metal rhythm and lead work—they’re just built for speed, control, and precision. Super impressive.

Great pick
Nice feeling pick. Like the grips. Makes tremolo picking and sweeping very easy. Yes the point wears down pretty quickly ,but it stops and stays about as pointy as a jazz III. Slightly chirpy at times. They will improve your playing. I'd buy them again.

A great almost-there design held back by quality
I really wanted to like these, I've had another Acoustik Stealth pick in the past, which also had the same issue these have, the material. They're just not long lasting. They dull way too quick, and the disappointing part is, the grip and shape feel very nice for me. If a premium version of these were made that came with less quantity, I would be interested in returning to the brand. I have now been using Jim Dunlops primetone 1.0 mm ultex picks for a month now and those solve my grip and size issue I've had. Until durability is adressed here, I recommend a pack of those a try. They are very low in quantity, but as a Metalcore/alt metal player, those adress my needs a lot better right now.

Provide nice tone
Nice picks. A bit pricey but they're good quality and easy to hang onto

Probably the best picks out there!!
Look I am by no means the best guiter player in the world but these picks make you feel like you could be! Great for sweeps, back picking and all the solos a player could try to play! The new V3 are a ton more durable and last so much longer than the V2 and V1 which were worth it at their low durability. The tone is super clear and bright when you want it to be and the picks position lets the thumb drag effortlessly for that jenty "whoooop whooop!" ha! Get some and you will not regret it!

Super great.
These are fantastic. I generally play technical death metal. I'm a big fan of the Jazz 3 and like to buy different variations whenever i see a new one. I generally always end up going back to the standard Dunlop Jazz 3 tortex's, but I'm gonna buy more of these and keep them in my stock. The grip on this one works well and i find my fingers sweat less and get less oily, whatever material they make these with is pretty great. I think the sound you get from these picks are pretty comparable to the standard heavy Dunlops, but the bevels on this pick and the point make this one more precise and they cut through the string smoother while retaining the beefy chunk you might want for heavy metal sections. Overall real solid picks.

Love how these feel
I’m a new player and have smaller hands. Most picks feel big and cumbersome but these are perfect. I’m glad I did my research and found these!

I remember when picks were 3 for $1 - guess those days are long gone. But having said that, these are worth the price. I noticed an improvement in my picking speed and accuracy, which might be just a placebo effect, but 100% these are the most ergonomic picks I’ve ever used

Advert with Devin Townsend marketing his version of these and I thought I would give them a try. They are a game changer and I cannot see me going back to a traditional pick moving forwards
