I’ve had this on the back of my Jeep for a while now and it’s been absolutely great. It’s completely solid and super sturdy. The shackle is plenty beefy but I replaced it with an all black one that uses a hitch pin for quick removal and better looks. It’s pulled me out of loads of spots and I’ve pulled plenty of other vehicles and other stuff with it as well. It really doesn’t make any noise, even without the isolator that comes with it. If you’re looking for one of these, just grab this one. It’s great quality at a great price and I’ll probably pick up an extra to give to my buddies who only have a tow ball.

I haven't had the chance to use this yet , but I have no doubt whatsoever that this thing will be more than able to handle any task that I throw at it. The build quality is first class . It is very very robust , looks great , and fits perfectly into my receiver. At only 30 bucks you can't go wrong .

Since receiving this item I’ve used it in two vehicle recoveries from snowbanks. It held up and did it’s thing. The motorists I assisted were impressed with the handiness of this. I works great if you have no safe tow points from the rear and can not pull them through the front tow hooks.

Great buy for my offroad adventures-use it every time I go out and have pull myself and others out of tough places in the woods

Pros: I have 5 different hitch receivers, this fits both my trucks the best with no slop or rattle and has high quality welds and machining. Hefty high quality pin. Shackle might be cast then sanded? but looks forged and bolt doesn't have the normal slop of cheap shackles leading me to believe its (much stronger) forged. Cons: Really only one is that shackle is smaller then in the image. I can still fit my tow rope through it but only barely. A sllightly bigger shackle would both be stronger and much easier to use.

HIGHLY recommend this, I have recovered several vehicles off road, pulled down huge trees, and done just about anything you can think of with this. When I tell you this hitch has saved me more times then I can count, I mean it. THIS HITCH TOOK A REAR END IMPACT WITH NO HESITATION!!! Someone ran straight into the back of me and this hitch took EVERYTHING. No damage to the receiver or my bumper, just a scratch on my hitch. It still functions as it should, I actually used this to pull down a HUGE tree over the weekend and had absolutely no issues!

Works great. Been using for ~5 years and the sun has definitely faded the colors, but have had no issues.

This hitch is just as it appears, shiny black/red, and quite heavy, so expect it will perform to the specifications stated. The plastic cusp on the shackle itself seems to be well-adhered, do not think it would fall-off easily, nor the pin for the shackle, although over time, since it is threaded, could back out, as I have read in some reviews has happened. I intend to put the hitch on only when I need to use it, which is seldom, therefore no worry as to loss . The other thing you could do was just leave the post part of the hitch itself on, removing the shackle itself to prevent loss. Of course, you would have to get a locking hitch pin to prevent theft, as it does not come with one. It seems a really good value for the cost, considering the high weight capacity, compared to the others here, plus there is the "never rust" dynamic, if it is actually true. I would recommend it, at this point, but the "proof of the pudding" will be when I actually use it for the first time.

Very solid unit. I will buy it again if it ever breaks.

The quality feels well made and there is some good weight. I have not used this product, but I believe it should perform well as others who have used it have mentioned. I just want to point out the product comes marked "Made in China" so that may be something you may take into consideration if deciding to purchase. Shipping - it was faster than what was advertised to me - in fact, a lot faster! All in all, this feels like a solid product and has performed well for users.
