This carrier is great for rodents. It fits my male Syrian perfectly with a half coconut hide inside as well. There is still room for him to walk and even up the hide! The lock is sturdy and requires a small 2-step to unlock which helps since hamsters are known to escape carriers lol. It also has a lot of ventilation holes. One thing I would say is, the water bottle does spill but bucatstate provides stoppers for you. So if you don't want to use the water bottle, you can simply replace it with the stoppers. Overall, great carrier and I can't wait to use this for vet trips or cage cleaning 😊

Bought for my 2 robo hamsters. I will say for sure that this carrier is really cute. I like how it has a water holder. The only downfall is the size (if your hamster is big, he/she might feel crammed). I have a picture of my robos who are 4-5wks old right now. I will also comment that for robos, this might not be the right carrier for them as they are quick to run out of the carrier and this carrier has a lid that opens and closes. I almost lost my robo baby because I couldn't close the lid fast enough. Maybe a carrier that has a small lid that's not where they can reach might be better. But overall, cute carrier which I'm going to keep. It's sturdy, good quality, easy to put together and in style.

Great Product, my hamster was on the larger end and she had enough space within the carrier. The water does leak, but it is detachable.

Perfect for vet trips and it is very travel friendly without being too small or too large. Also good to put your hamster in when cleaning your enclosure. I have a Syrian hamster and even though they’re a larger breed, it’s still big enough for him. Picture doesn’t show the water bottle assembled, but it came with instructions to put on when needed.

It took me awhile to review this carrier, but overall during the time of me receiving it and trying to see how the product works. I’d say it’s worth the money! It’s definitely should only be used for small trips like going to the vet, doing a short outing or cleaning there enclosures. I tried it with Honey and he seemed confused at first, but since he’s really good driven, putting some treats and seeds in, helped him calm down and relax while I cleaned his cage. So most definitely I do recommend it, but don’t leave your little hammy inside for too long! I also like how there’s a water attachment that you can detach if not needed, but water leakage is a small problem, so maybe if it had the marble balls like other water bottles to help with the easy leakage. Overall 8/10! I would definitely buy the other colors for my other two hamsters!

To preface: I dropped this cage (without my baby in it of course) and it did not break open- so it’s a 5 for me. it did, however, pour the entire contents of the water bottle onto his cold little self during the ride home which sucks major pine needles. Cute case, good size not too big not too small; easy breathing access & treat access for those as food motivated as my Chuck. Good value for money, works well, very functional.
