I was using these thin wire hangers for all my outerwear in order to save closet space and I just recently noticed that the shoulders of all my jackets, coats, and blazers were getting all warped. I came across these MEQUTION 8-pack Wood Hangers in retro/matte black finish and decided that, if I had to choose between saving the shoulders of my outerwear vs saving closet space, I'd choose the former. These wood hangers revitalized the shoulders of all my outerwear and brought them all back to life! And they don't even take up that much closet space because these hangers are extra wide and extend beyond my other hangers, and the wider portion is only on the very ends of the hangers. I love the retro or matte black finish - very sleek and stylish. These hanger hooks also have a 360-degree swivel function and a non-slip rubberized bar so that you can hold pants or other outerwear accessories without worrying about them slipping or falling off the hanger. The quality of the hangers is excellent. Super sturdy and durable but not too heavy. They were packaged well with some padding in between the hangers so that none were damaged. My only regret is that I didn't invest in these sooner. Highly recommend!

Anyone whose had a suit coat or sport jacket left hanging on a wire or plastic hanger will appreciate and enjoy these hangers. Looking at them you'll see the arms flare to a rounded and well designed flare. This perfectly supports the shoulder of your jacket. You will not have any of the raised marks on the shoulder of your jackets caused by the jacket weight hanging on the narrow wire or plastic. They are strong and well made. Given the cost of my suit jackets and sports coats, the cost of these hangers was trivial. The won't twist or sag out of shape. Excellent product

This is a very good product in that it provides a practical solution for hanging cardigans and other larger sweaters. The wide shoulder is perfect for those garments I ordered the black hangers and they are very elegant and well crafted. I will be ordering another set for my suits and jackets.

Having tired of misshapen and wrinkled shoulders on my husband’s and my winter jackets, I found these relatively wide, paddle-shaped hangers on Amazon and took the plunge, ordering one set of 8. They were delivered promptly, though the delivery person inexplicably saw fit to leave them outside an uncovered door in the rain instead of under an overhang. I was unable to collect them for a day or two, and the box was filled with water when I opened it. I was afraid I would find them ruined, but, almost miraculously, I found nary a blemish on any of the carefully packed, well-varnished hangers. They were put to use virtually immediately, and almost all of our jackets are now hanging in perfect shape. I simply need to order another set to complete the job. Then, I believe I will expand the enterprise to long coats, rainwear, and possibly even sweaters (after applying adhesive-backed foam strips to the ends of the hangers to keep sweaters from slipping on the slick wood). I wish only that each of the shoulders of these hangers were one inch longer, but I challenge anyone to find a wider wooden hanger on Amazon.

I like these coat hangers and would buy again. Shoulders wide enough to keep your clothes/coats from getting that hanger indentation. The finish is a nice color, consistent over the hangers, and smooth. I didn't notice any rough areas on any of them. I ordered 3 packs of eight hangers each and was happy with all of them. My closet looks sooo much better.

unfortunately the first one we took out of the box was badly broken. the others were fine and great for hanging winter coats.
