Solid audio: solid fit: long play time: many charges in the base: optional app features
I gave these a 5-star rating. If you are not accustomed to this style of earpiece, there are some options that may help your comfort levels. The fit is everything, but these can be extremely comfortable if done right. And otherwise, the tech is excellent. The system connects silly easy, and the app allows for some interesting features. The audio is exceptional, not as loud but this is expected in the open ear. The TOZO app makes the audio easy to handle with 32 Equalizer presets, and a manual setting, if you're feeling adventurous. I like this app idea to tweak the audio, nice going guys. Opens up functions of the product that we didn't have before. Perhaps if I could disable the touch controls on the earpiece through the app? Such as when I am wearing a hoodie or something. So, it doesn't hit the buttons for me when I turn my head? Those functions can be annoying when your sweaty hoodie changes songs. Perhaps you can find some time to make such a feature? I have become a fan of these guys over the years. I have several of their buds over many years. I have gotten every bit of my money out of them. One set was not great, they sent a new set that I still have these 3 years later. Some last 2 years, others many more than that. I started buying backups thinking, well... I'll have another set when these finally quit. I now use 3 of my older sets in rotation, and this OpenEgo, they sent me for being so sweet. They asked me to review it. I use earbuds all day, probably more than most people, and will switch on and off when a set finally runs down. I have gone over 4 hours with this new OpenEgo now, they aren't quitting, but I am, for dinner or something. I have used them for phone calls without incident, the audio was good on both ends. I was not used to the open ear fit, but I learned a trick -just take off yer glasses first... then the Oes fit better, put the glasses over them on your ear. It's the twisting motion that sets them in there, you'll get the hang of it. They don't move around much when I am working in the yard or on the farm. Never fallen off. And I now appreciate not using regular in-the-ear buds all the time. I am a big person, and they are comfortable, even after hours of use, often only needing a slight adjustment now and then. Easy to forget, and I love that they don't mute your hearing like in ear buds do. But there is a time for that and a time to go open ear. I can also wear these OpenEgos under hearing protection for those noisy tractor days, but the in ear buds win that challenge easily. In summary- These sound great, fit great, and last longer than I can, most often. The 5 stars is for the product and those who make it.

Better than soundcore V20i
Good size: the soft feel, yet firm hold of ear hook, suggests they put time & effort into functional wear. The larger driver does improve lower Hz (Bass) sound. I am very impressed with sound, wear, pairing, touch control and battery life/charging. Sound exceeds quantity and volume > Soundcore V20i. It's only been a few weeks. Only 1 minor flaw - when not using & left in ears, if they turn off: not able to turn back on without placing in case. I'm still figuring it out.

My absolute favorite so far!
I was unsure if they would stay on because they feel like they’re just sitting on your ear. The sensation was unnerving for about an hour. Now I forget that I have them on. No more itchy ears. No ear fatigue. No more asking people to repeat themselves because my ears are plugged with speakers and I can’t hear. I wear Bluetooth earbuds/headphones all day, every day and with these I can hear my music, podcasts, phone calls etc. without blocking my ability to hear. The comfort is amazing once you stop feeling like it has to be jammed in your ear hole to be secure. The touch functions are perfect. Battery life exact time is unknown but it’s really good. I have them on from 7am to 4 or 5pm and I’ve never had a low battery warning. I usually put them in the case for 40 min to an hour after 4pm, then put them back on until after 10:00 pm. I call my wife when I walk out of work every day and with all 8 (various brands) of my other earbuds the wind noise drives her crazy. I couldn’t even crack my car window when I drive because the sound was always horrible and ruins my discussions. With these Tozo Open Air, the wind blowing across the microphones is not heard by her. I don’t understand how the wind isn’t a factor anymore but I’m beyond happy. The first day I used these I walked out of work to really strong wind and I immediately regretted calling before I got in my car, until I realized she couldn’t hear the wind. She said that she thought I was still in my office because my voice was perfectly clear. To me this is a huge win. I only talk on the phone through Bluetooth earbuds and these are the absolute best so far. Here is the worst thing I can say about these open air ear buds: I was listening to a movie in one earbud while driving and I wanted more volume but it was maxed out. The dialog was unusually quiet and my hearing is not the best, plus I had a lot of road noise. I pulled over and I was able to use the app to make eq adjustments and get more volume. That seems more like the movie’s problem. My music, YouTube videos, podcasts and streaming apps all sound great. My phone calls are better than ever. I will definitely recommend these to friends and family. My only concern is a good one to have. We can’t have earbuds on the production floor and I’m afraid to get in trouble because I keep forgetting that I have these on. I literally don’t feel them on my ears. An added bonus is that they don’t interfere with the frames of my glasses when I decide to wear them. Tozo has created some great products. I have 5 different models and I’ve purchased another 6 pairs for my wife and daughters over the past 4 years. Based on all these positive experiences I wanted my first open air devices to come from them and they’ve continued to keep me as a happy customer. I’m big into brand loyalty and Tozo is the only company I know that will offer me new products for free and all they ask in return is that I take the time to write an honest review. I’ll be back for more. I think it’s time to try one of their smart watches. I hope you get these and experience what makes Tozo one of my favorite brands on Amazon and the one brand I’ve returned to more than any other.

TOZO open ear headphones
Sound quality is very good when listening to music, videos, etc. Deep bass, crisp highs, I almost forgot they’re not actually in my ear, just sitting next to them. They feel like a quality product, nice materials fit and finish as every other TOZO product I’ve had. I got black ones, they have a nice contrast of gloss black and matte soft touch finishes. The case is nice looking, matte black with chrome TOZO lettering on the lid, with a nice opening and closing feel. The case is a bit larger than I’m used to having had several other TOZO earbuds previously(almost double what I’m used to) but not too large overall, about 3x3in square and roughly 1.5in tall. My previous TOZO earbuds had type c charging like this one, but also had wireless charging which these do not have. I like percentage battery life display on the front of the case compared to only dots or light flashes like some other models and brands. I also like that it shows you on the case like some of the other TOZO buds the state of charge of each earbud/earphone as well as the case percentage - those are in “battery lines” tho, but at least you can also see those in your phone anyway so they’re not necessary to have % displayed. If there’s not much ambient noise I can see them getting a bit annoying for others around you because they can kinda hear it too - like a VERY quiet Bluetooth speaker. Tried using the TOZO app as mentioned in the instructions to adjust the equalizer and sound settings, but I could not notice any difference in sound. No bass changed, no treble changed, it all sounded the same to me. Used some of the presets and also manually adjusted the EQ, but nothing I could notice changed. So far the calls I’ve tried to do with just the headphones are terrible. The sound I hear is very quiet - barely audible. Not sure on their end because I kept ggettong hung up on because I couldn’t hear them and they got tired of saying “yes I hear you”, so I had to switch to phone or loudspeaker. Their fit leaves something to be desired for me, I wear glasses and have longer hair - just to my shoulders so I can’t put it all in a pony tail properly. They keep getting tangled in my hair when trying to put them on and with the glasses they keep either fitting loose if the glasses are on the inside, or make my head hurt after a while because the glasses are outside of them and my head keeps getting squished. I also tried them without my glasses for a bit just to see how they fit and feel. They fit better around my ears, but again with longer hair they keep kinda being in the way. I guess that’s just the nature of AROUND the ear headphones vs OVER the ear headphones or earbuds IN the ear. I tuck my hair behind my ears so they keep getting tangled on the hair and, like with the glasses, it’s hard to put the hair behind my ear and if I put my hair back and then the headphones then they don’t quite fit right because the hair is there. It takes forever to put them on because I have to take off hat, glasses and move my hair around bunch of times and adjust the headphones like 3 times before they’re ok. Also anytime I have to readjust my hair or glasses I keep knocking them off my ears, partly because I’m still getting used to the earphones being there, and partly because they’re on loosely around the ears so they get really annoying quickly if I’m being active. I bet with short hair, or if your hair is long enough to fully keep in a pony tail, braids etc they would stay better. I understand they have to make a generic fit product, it can’t just be tailored specifically to only my ears, or they’d never sell any, and custom fit would be too complicated, expensive and time consuming. Overall they feel very light, and by themselves they feel somewhat comfortable but for me they feel very unstable like they’re going to just fall out any second. Not too tight around the ears so they don’t hurt my ears or my head, but still feel loose. I tried to use them with the silicone “braces” they provided(supposed to be for more active use, to help keep them in place more securely), but they feel even less secure in my ears. Because of the long hair and glasses they just don’t sit where they need to be, so they don’t “hook” properly in my ears and fall out every time I turn my head quickly and it’s not very pleasant or comfortable for me. I’ve noticed when I put them in the case they sometimes still just keep playing and sound like the world’s weakest Bluetooth speaker - which they kinda are by design…if you think about it. So I’ve had to keep checking they’re actually charging in the case, instead of in my pocket wasting battery.

These changed my view of open-air headphones. Highly recommended!
For the past several years, I have listened to music and podcasts primarily through true-wireless noise canceling earbuds, including TOZO NC7s as well as high-end offerings from Jabra and Sony. While those have been great for working in noisy environments such as mowing the lawn or using my woodworking tools, my partner frequently complains that she can’t get my attention because of how well the noise canceling works on those devices. So when I heard about the concept of open ear headphones, I decided to give them a try despite my skepticism as to whether the sound could possibly be as good as it was with my earbuds. Having had prior good luck with TOZO products, including multiple sets of earbuds and the TOZO PB2 PD Fast Charging Power Bank, I thought it would be worth a try to check out the TOZO OpenEgo true wireless open-air headphones. They arrived promptly in packaging that was nice without being wasteful. The case is by necessity rather large, but the headphones fit in very neatly and the magnets are adequate to hold them without being so tight as to resist removal. In addition to clear instructions, the package included a USB-A to C cable and a pair of open-cell foam “braces” that fit snugly on the back end of the headphones to provide a more secure fit during vigorous exercise. Since the headphones are comfortable either with or without the braces, I just leave them on all the time. And because these headphones don’t fit within the ear canal, there is no need for the multiple sizes of earbud tips necessary for in-ear headphones. At first it seemed strange that the speaker portion of the headphone doesn’t touch the ear canal at all, but I was immediately impressed by the sound quality. The sound is very balanced, with adequate bass without the “boominess” often present with tightly sealed earbuds. I also feel that the sound stage seems larger and more three dimensional than many earbuds. And my main concern, that ambient sound would interfere too much with the music, turned out to be no problem at all in most environments. Meanwhile, my partner is happy that she can now get my attention when I’m listening to music with the OpenEgos. I haven’t done a quantitative test of battery life, but my first impression is that the battery life is more than adequate and charging times are reasonable as well. While open-air headphones won’t replace my noise-cancelling earbuds for activities in noisy environments, these OpenEgo headphones have certainly found a place in my toolbox of listening devices. In summary, based on my initial listening experiences and my excellent prior experience with TOZO product reliability and customer service, I would highly recommend these TOZO OpenEgo open-air headphones. I was initially skeptical of the open-ear headphone concept, but these OpenEgos certainly changed my opinion, and if you share that skepticism, I think they will change your mind as well. PS: My cat liked them too (see photo)

Very Comfortable and Great Sound
The TOZO OpenEgo True Wireless Open Ear Headphones are my first dabble in Open Ear Headphone. I decided to give these a try as I find most on the ear headphones and in Ear buds get unomfortable for me after moderate use in a single sitting. These Earphones are quite comfortable to wear. They did come with an optional rubber piece that installs on the part that sits behind your ear. It is recommended to use those to make them more stable while wearing as needed. I find they fit better with that on and seems no reason to ever remove it. The rubber boot fits securely and is still very comfortable to wear with it on. The sound quality is excellent. Very crisp and gets well louder then one would need. The bass is a little less pronounced in my opinion then the in-ear buds but still more than adequate, well worth the trade off for the comfort preference of this style earphone. The packaging this arrived in was professional and would feel great giving these as a gift. The case that charges the earphones has nice weight to it and feels substantial. I love the way the magnets pull the earphones into place when placed in the case for charging. Worth mentioning, the case came charged but the headphones themselves did not, you need to pull off a little piece of tape on the buds then charge up after that. Didn't time it, but did not take long to charge these up. A few days in and a few extended wears in I am quite pleased with these headphones. A good value and quality item. Would for sure recommend and would buy again.

RANDOMLY TURNS ON when stored in the case - smartphone automatically reconnects and lose audio
While they offer quality sound, good battery life, HOWEVER I no longer use them. I've had them over a year. After use, I put them back in the supplied charging case. For no apparent reason, THEY RANDOMLY TURN ON and my phone will RECONNECT to them. THe Bluetooth is pretty darn good, because no matter where I've stored them (car console, backpack while traveling, in my desk drawer at home) I suddenly lose the phone's speaker / mic, only to figure out these things turned on while in the case, and my phone automatically reconnected (paired) to them. Has happened multiple times during a phone call. I had to unpair (delete) them from my phone. I can't have them in my vehicle because they'll randomly pair while in their case, I'm driving, and I lose the Vehicle's built-in CarPlay/Android Auto. I like the over the ear design for workouts or jogging, no more. They're no longer used, It's frustrating.

Great Quality, But Not Great For Running.
I actually really wanted to like these. I like the sound quality when I'm sitting or standing - the tones are rich, the bass is sufficient, but I wanted to use this when jogging / working out, and to be truthful, when I'm running, these kind of flop around. The movement is enough to not focus the music directly in (at least much of the time), and it's more distracting than I would prefer. I haven't had any issue whatsoever with sweat causing problems, so that's a plus. I also hoped that other people wouldn't be able to hear the music much at all, and that was not the case. However, the quality of the earphones are great, and they're very comfortable to wear. They charge quickly and hold their charge a *long* time, which I'm very impressed with. The one really good thing I loved about these is I don't feel isolated from the world around me. If I were jamming hard while running, I wouldn't be able to hear a car approaching or an angry dog sprinting after me. I always felt very aware and connected with working out with these - a huge plus.
