I’ve been using this PiBox casing for over seven months now, and I must say, I’m pleasantly surprised by its performance. Before this, I was using an Orico casing, which, while good, was quite expensive. Initially, I was sceptical about PiBox due to its affordable price, but it turned out to be a great decision.The read and write speeds are impressive, with no issues of stalling or bad sectors. The casing performs smoothly and reliably, even with continuous use. While the build quality isn’t ultra-premium, it is still quite solid and definitely more than acceptable for the price.What impressed me the most is learning that PiBox is developed by a team of dedicated engineers focused on delivering high performance at an affordable cost — and they’ve succeeded.Overall, it’s a simple, efficient, and well-performing product. I got this today (24-06-2024) & here's my opinion about this product:I couldn't find a review that covered the technical aspects of the product, so here's my detailed review of the Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB Internal Hard Drive and its enclosure.I am using the Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB Internal Hard Drive with a 7200 RPM speed, and it is fully compatible with the enclosure. I’m glad I got this for Rupees-950, as it offers great value for the price.The maximum read and write speed I achieved is 192 MB/s, which is quite good for copying and pasting files, using the drive as external storage to stream movies, or storing data.To put this into perspective, it took me 2 minutes and 30 seconds to transfer a 30 GB file. This speed is impressive, but only if you’re using a USB 3.0 port.A piece of advice: make sure to push the USB cable properly into the port. It fits very snugly, so ensure it is securely connected for optimal performance.

Frequent issues with the product. Sometimes it just randomly disconnects. Sometimes only the enclosure shows up as connected without the drive in it. The cable they're provided seems to be faulty. This is my second one, I had issues with the first, so I returned it. Only to get a new one with a different set of issues. The slightest disturbance seems to disconnect the drive. The disk speed is inconsistent. It is normally 150 something Mbps in seq read and write(I've tested on a desktop too). But sometimes when I connect it is at 36. Not a good value for money. Also customer support is terrible. They want me to pay, just to take a look at it and find out the issue. Absolutely terrible product and customer support. Will not recommend buying.

Its really a good product with usb A to A connection and its pretty fast.I had a hdd kept since 2014 of a old pc and I used that after getting this product.its easy to use and also bit expensive but still I would suggest people to buy this because it supporte both sizes of hdd and sdd and can convert any old internal storage into external storage.

Good Speed 100Mbps to 140 Mbps.plastic quality of case is ok ok.Gap in upper panel.Small cable length.But it is usefull device
