Liked that I could just drink it and be done w it but it does have a little bit of an unpleasant taste even though it’s unflavored. And it’s hard to mix in cold water. I finally used a little warm water to mix then added cold water and ice and a splash of lemon juice and it was ok then. Bought to help w knee and joint pain and it may have helped but I wound up w a torn meniscus shortly after I started taking it so not sure how much it’s helping but I’m still taking it. Gonna have to have knee replacement too so may try the pills next time even if you do have to take 6

It has really improved my fine lines in just the month that I have started taken it for the past 2 weeks!! I mix it in the cup with my instant mushroom coffee so I get an energy and immunity boost too. I add hot water, creamer, and milk. The vanilla flavor takes over. Sometimes if I dont mix it well it clumps a bit in my cup but dissolves by the time I am done drinking. It does not have a very strong protein taste. It works so well. This cute little convenient space saving container packs so much value!

This is an amazing product, it has the right kind of vitamin c for absorption, high amounts of biotin and a good amount of collagen. It’s a 3 in 1. I’ve tried other collagen brands, both pricer and less expensive and this works the best for me, I think it’s they added the right kind added vitamin c that the body absorbs best and benefits from. My hair has regrown on the crown, my under eye circles have faded, my skin looks great, my nails are so thick now I actually have a hard time cutting them. The only gripe I add is it takes time to dissolve so I go back and forth pouring between 2 cups while mixing with a fork to break it up, it’s not that hard actually and the benefits are worth it, it is the best product I’ve tried of its kind on the market.

This review is specific to taste of the 10oz jar version. The product is wonderful and I’ve had great results with Youtheory collagen. I’ve been using the Vanilla version in packets for a few years now, but it was out of stock during my last replenishment order. By my own mistake, I failed to read the ingredients and compare, making the assumption that it was just a packaging difference. This DOES have additional beneficial ingredients, leading to a larger serving needed. The downside for me personally is the sweetener. While it’s stevia derived and not artificial, the Youtheory vanilla collagen packets quickly became my favorite as they had a mild vanilla taste and no overpowering sweetness. It is still a great product and I don’t knock them for my own mistake, I just don’t rate this version as high as the other based on taste. I can’t speak for the brand, but perhaps the addition of biotin and such lead to the decision to sweeten this version and help neutralize any supplement taste.

I used this product for YEARS. I recommended this product to DOZENS of people. Then, sometime near the end of 2024, they completely changed the formula, without warning, without sending any new information, and suddenly the nutrition facts stated that 2 scoops were required to fulfill the same amount of nutrition as 1 scoop had served in the past. How do I know the formula changed if they didn’t announce it anywhere? Well, I drank this product in my morning coffee every day for YEARS. I gagged when the formula changed, it was THAT different. It was much sweeter and had a chemical sweetness aftertaste. Previously, it had been a little sweet, but nothing excessive, and never had there been an aftertaste before. However, I had purchased a huge tub of it, so I just kept drinking it, and within a week, it became my “new normal”. I lazily continued to allow subscriptions to fill monthly for 4-5 months. I let my standards slip. Big mistake. DONT SETTLE LADIES. Finally, 2 weeks ago, I decided to try another brand. It is vanilla also, and also sweetened. But after drinking YouTheory Vanilla Collagen Powder for the last 4-5 months, the new brand tasted BITTER. (It is NOT bitter, but I’d been drinking such excessively sweetened powder that by comparison, it tasted bitter.) I’ve now been off the YouTheory vanilla collagen powder for 2 weeks, and I am now making the connection that the incredible gut issues I’ve been suffering for the last few months, may be completely due to the “new” YouTheory vanilla collagen powder formulation. I typically eat a whole-food diet, mostly keto (just meats, veggies, cheeses, etc), and for 3 months now, I’ve had stomach pains all day, AND all night; pains so bad that during the day I’d be doubled over and stumbling around like a sickly person because my stomach was hurting so badly. Now, after 2 weeks of switching to a different brand, I have finally been able to stand up straight and smile and enjoy my life again. This may seem like a ridiculous claim, and I cannot prove that it is the YouTheory collagen powder that was to blame. But I do NOT recommend this product anymore. Absolutely horrible.
