Shiitake Mushroom Jerky - Chipotle Flavour - Vegan Friendly - Box of 16 x 25 g Packs

Perhaps a little more chewy than you might expect given that it’s mushroom but that kind of adds to it, after all it is jerky and isn’t that one of the things we like about jerky. A pleasant taste, the spices have a slightly powdery consistency but overall a really nice, satisfying taste and texture. Good size portion and a reasonable price for the size of pack.

This veggie jerky is absolutely brilliant. Tastes delicious, it has a spicy kick though but I don't mind as I eat spice everyday. I'd say if you find regular black pepper spicy then perhaps this isn't for you. Saying that it's such a great snack for work, it hits the spot, gives you your protein boost and is healthy. I highly recommend this for anyone craving 'beef jerky'. The texture is pretty similar, it has that chewiness to it. The only downside is that the pieces are quite small (unlike real jerky) and it would be nice to have more pieces in 1 bag. 16 packs at £24 means each pouch is £1.50 which I do think is alot for such a small amount, BUT, I still ordered another box because it's that good and for me has helped me lose some weight as this is what I've been snackin on at work instead of crisps and it leaves me more satisfied whereas I'd easily eat 2 small packs of crisps a day while at work. Larger pouches of this exact flavour are available on the brand's actual website and the pieces are bigger, however, it's £12 more expensive. Anyway that's my two cents, I hope this review was useful in helping you decide :)

Veggie jerky is now my go to snack for when I'm craving something savoury. It's saved me from countless bags of crisps and it's much lower calorie stuff! Very satisfyingly chewy and the black bean is pleasantly spicy without being 'hot'.

Amazing product, The BEST veggie jerky on the market for the money. the only draw back is even though this is the best value for money veggie jerky I still feel I should be getting slightly more for my money. 4/5

If you are on the fence about buying this - DONT DO IT! I loved the Kings black bean jerky and was ok with the smoky bacon flavour, but this is gross, covered in a fake power that sticks to the inside of your mouth. Even the dog wont eat it, nasty stuff.

Please keep making these and other vegan-friendly products. I'll always buy them and promote them.

Great quality snack. Bit pricey but makes a nice treat. Bit too much black pepper but it's hard to stop eating.

Chewy and firm while being juicy, like real beef jerky, just different flavour. I like that this product isn't trying to imitate the flavour of beef jerky, as this allows then to be creative and make a product that tastes good on its own.
