This chain is a replacement for a chain that broke on an inexpensive necklace I bought a while back. It is made of smooth metal that hasn't turned my neck green yet, so I guess that's good. The only thing I don't like about it is the clasp. It does have a lobster clasp, but the other side is a tiny ring that is difficult to find and clasp onto when putting this on behind your neck. It would be better with a solid extension to hold onto with a hole on the solid extension. Otherwise, it is a nice little chain. Side note about the color, it is more of a rose gold than a bright yellow gold. I've found this to be the case with other necklaces made into this style chain, so not sure why.
