I found the sample collection straightforward. I was careful to follow the instructions - I drank water in advance and swung my arm around vigorously just before using the lancet. I was able to fill the tube in about two minutes. I posted the completed kit on Thursday morning, and received results by email on Sunday at 2pm.

I have purchased test with 24 biomarkers with results expected in 2 to 3 days. After a week I have contacted them and they asked to wait more. Finally they sent me results with only ONE biomarker and ignored any of my communication. My advice is to stay away from this "health" company. Luckily amazon refunded. But lost 2 weeks waiting for important health information.

We like the layout of the Randox tests, very informative and easy to read, However, ordering direct to Randox we found to be painfully slow, so order through Amazon for faster receipt of test. Test results take longer than others to come back, the last test we carried out was sent back on Monday but we didn't receive the results until Saturday, we thought this compared to competitors was very slow. (One day tests were exactly that, X1 day turnaround) We've asked questions weeks ago on Amazon messaging but had no response, so overall, great tests but slow postage and even slower to process the results and get them sent, this won't stop us from using Randox but there is room for improvement!

Sorry, but the amount of blood required is insane.I have used all three kit to punch holes in my finger, so the blood will come faster, but didn't succeed to even fill half. I've done all the preparation needed.

Very tricky to fill the test tube to the top, however my results arrived within 5 days (I sent on Monday and they arrived on Friday) and were complete.

im sure this may well be great if youre the sort of person who bleeds like a stuck pig, id had a hot bath and been for a walk, got the kit open and noticed the little container is about 2ml, maybe more, stabbed my finger and tried my best as per the instructions to squeeze the blood out, tried for ages, wiped tried more, did my other hand, stabbed tried more, i must be near now surely..... NOPE maybe 10% of the container full, it would take a day to fill the thing. maybe im not a normal person and the average person just bleeds like a tap the moment their skin is punctured but it seems that isnt me. bottom line is unless your blood just doesnt clot or youre INCREDIBLY determined dont bother. complete waste of money, its just not really practical to try and squeeze that much blood from a minuscule cut

The kit consists of a small phial that you aim to fill with blood, 4 pin prick lancets, a bubble pack/phial holder and cleaning wipes and several plasters. Using the kit requires some forethought, firstly as the blood is going to be posted back you really need to be doing it early in the week so it is not sat in some sorting office over weekend. Also you need to gather the blood before eating or drinking anything other that a couple of glasses of water as it recommends. Once ready you need to wash your hands and then pop the top off the collection tube and stand it in the bubble shipping container which has a hole to keep it upright, Next soak your chosen hand in warm water to thin the blood then spin it around in a circle to get the blood to the hand. Next prick the side of a finger tip with the spring loaded lancet, pretty painless I found. I ended up having to prick my finger three times as I heal mega quick but I got there in the end, you can also gently massage down your finger from root to near the tip to help, but not to hard. There is a video online and the instructions are pretty clear. Once done box the phial up and post it off after first registering it on the site indicated in the instructions. Results are returned in a password protected PDF and are presented in a traffic light format, see picture. The majority of mine were in the green, cholesterol was probably my worst result with a little drift in to the amber, no surprise thankfully was something I had discussed with my GP in the past anyway. There is also a description of what the various results mean etc.. My report had 17 items in the traffic light listing, there were several not shown in the traffic light system and no explanation as to why not, not sure if there was an issue with measuring them for some reason! I think this is not a substitute for a proper medical blood test but if you can afford the money it at least gives you a snapshot of your general health.

With this test, we are supposed to have 25 tests, I got 22. When I send an email, they ask me to go to one of their laboratory. I told them I don't have one close of me, no others solutions provided so I won't get my 3 lasts results (when 2 of them was important for me). They need to put 2 tubes instead of 1 (I filled my tube up the top like it was ask). Easy to use when you follow the informations. The results are easy to read (they even have a color system).
